Why are you apologizing, people can buy and watch what they want.. they don’t care for the extra videos so be it. Everyone cuts their own deal in life.

Freight Trains don’t stop for Barking Dogs. Small people will always try to spread negativity. Keep your momentum and leave the negativity behind you. Gird your Loins and move your vision forward.

It's so crazy that people are so used to getting things free that they get upset if someone tries to charge for content. This is what he does for a living. How do you think he pays for the boats, food, fuel etc for these trips? Keep up the good work Bobby, it's all good.

Don’t get discouraged. You’ve come a long way. Stay creative and enjoy yourself.

Much of the appeal of your channel is the chance to live vicariously through your adventures. The covid years would have been that much more depressing without channels like yours to keep our spirits up. Heck, they should give you a medal in my opinion. i watch a real lot of you tubers so i cannot subscribe to anyone ,but its thanks to you tubers you one of them people like me can see many things i love seeing other countrys mostly japan, never had an holiday so i see them on line i see sailing series which i love and so on.

Don't worry about the complaints about the vemeo movie, a lot of channels do the same. As to the YT restrictions, it's a major hit. Peter Coulson, an Aussie Photog, put up a video tribute to his long time assistant, friend, employee, model and muse. He had to take it down and re-edit it and replace it with a kid friendly version because YT deemed that it was too sexual. Note, there was not a single nude image in the video. The most was implied nude, with Bec actually wearing clothes or a bikini. SV Delos, Lauren, Lonestar all got hit with demonitization because they had someone wearing a thong

Most of all your subscribers appreciate and understand how hard you work at all this. You shouldn’t worry about the few noisy negative people. Keep up the good work.

Bobby, been following for a while. You run your business the way you see fit. Nobody is entitled to your videos. You put them where and how you want. Now hoping it is not interpreted as hate or negativity. I do see a big change from one focused on sailing issues, long voyages, with cute crew into a channel where the actual sailing seems secondary. Hopefully when you get your cat you go back to cruising ariund the world.

Last I heard we all had freedom of choice. Bobby has chosen a very speculative way to earn a living. He has responded to people who wanted something more than what appears on the regular channel. He was very clear that it was a pay per view, and what the content was. If you wanted to watch, you did. If you didn’t want to, that was your choice, just scroll on by! Bobby, I personally elected not to watch, but I commend you for responding to your viewers with extra content. You and your crew keep doing what you want to do. Don’t let the haters get in your way.

I really liked you giving the historical breakdown of the sailing vlogs. I remember watching DeVos. It’s awesome you are familiar with the those other producers. I enjoy the little bit of titillation. It’s just a part of the fun stuff that is available on your channel. The views of the environment and the technical requirements of sailing are just as fun though. I must say I think you are a very good narrator. Enough clear details of what is going on without blabbering on endlessly. That goes for all your channel’s. Good job, keep it up please.

Bobby: Don't fear A.I. for content. Given the difficulties and challenges of technology and the very broad spectrum of English pronunciation, A.I. generated videos will probably long be detectable. I have an idea for preventing those goofs, but I don't want to make it easy for the disreputable pseudo-creators. Similarly, I don't think TikTok or other short form content poses much risk. Uniformly, those are 98% incredibly stupid content. RU-vid keeps slipping shorts into my feed and I am happy to close them, well except for Cleo who appropriately uses it to advertise her excellent content.

I completely get the frustration, you work hard on something, invest time and money and a few jackasses attack it, worst of all they are saying things that are untrue about people they don't know. I plan to watch the video tomorrow morning, it looks fun. People are crossing the line, this isn't their channel, this is Bobby's channel and he owns the content. He owns his business and it is up to nobody other than him what he decides to do with it.

Bobby- I started watching your channel when you were crossing the pacific and I really liked the sailing portion and the bikini portions were an added feature that was great. I have zero issue with your content at all. I'm a tech type of person so I like the boat fixing and upgrading videos, thats just the real portion of sailing. I have to say that I've really enjoyed Amanda on your channel and its great that you two are a couple. If she is fine with the bikini portions of the videos then I don't know what people have a problem with. Just watch some of the nighttime TV shows these days, they show more than you do on some of those episodes. I have not paid for an downloaded the movie yet, but plan to do so this weekend. I can't wait for the new boat content to come out.

I sence your frustration and I totally understand that this is your main means if income. People today have to shit on people for some reason. It's easy for me to say let the haters be haters but its so much more as it directly impacts you making a living. It was a great rant. From an old crappy C&C with two pups to an upcoming hybrid cat is a significant growth curve. It's a fine line to stay on balance but you can't make everyone happy. Being a RU-vid celebrity brings its own set of challenges. Great explanation of what is happening in your business. It is a business. Keep it up.

That you are so clued up about AI and how it will take over, makes me certain you will be one of the few surviving channels. Open AI showed off a text to video tool called Sora which is pretty scary if you think about the potential scope for fakery and abuse. Interesting video, thanks for sharing.

It has been interesting to see how your channel has changed over the years. I think part of the sailing youtube thing is that there are just so many sailing channels out there now, it's just crazy how many there are. As a side note: I think the best thing that ever happened for youtube in general is the ability of more and more people to buy drones, they just make so many more shots available that years ago would have required a real helicopter to get the similar shots and they probably would have not been as good.
