I have a pair of these and I echo everything you have said. I always wear socks so the sweat thing is not really an issue for me. As the soften up they become really comfortable without feeling squishy. I love them

100% I have to give it as my favorite non plated daily trainer of the year for sure and it's not really close ! Plus after hundreds of miles, the outsole is still A+

Thanks ! I appreciate the sub and the kind words! Basically when the tongue is attached to the side of the shoe to prevent it from sliding around. It creates almost an arch shape, as opposed to a standard tongue which just connects near the toe box! Hope that helped

Thanks and Absolutely. Puma's super close. Under Armour with that velociti elite looks pretty exciting too but it kind of gives me Saucony endorphin pro 2 vibes aka a little more firm than most super shoes

@@yani.leigh. Saucony get a lot of mentions from reviewers here in the UK and lots of members at my club wear them. My new year resolution is not to buy shoes, it always is and this year I lasted to April.

Its not a really good year for Nike and Adidas to make daily trainers. Such a disappointment for the big brands to not able to pull off the trainers category. Underrated company such as Saucony, Asics, and even Puma is really great. Every one of the, got such a tempting trainers to choose from. I go for Puma Deviate Nitro 2 for my new trainer after using Peg 39 for quite awhile. A very good decision indeed. I still use the Peg 39 tho. They’re great but Puma is way better. Thanks for the video Yani. Keep posting ! Im looking forward for your journey in running. You really inspire many people to run such and me. Thank you 🙏🏼.

Thanks for all the support! I'm excited for what puma has to offer in 2023 , I feel like they are very close to a major breakthrough at the marathon distance .

I love your passionate reviews 👍 but have to say this shoe was terrible for me , i ran 2370 miles last year in many different brands including Adidas and wont be doing any more running in these particular shoes , they just didnt soften up at all . Keep running my friend 🤗

My most used shoe would be the ASICS novablasts 1 2 and 3 , I have hokas and many others but ASICS are my favourite, although I'm just starting to clock up miles on some Boston 11s I just bought and I like them too . Keeping running my friend 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️@@yani.leigh.

Is it suitable for racing? Also how's the weight for you throughout the 50 miles journey?

Hey Amir. It absolutely is, however the distance of the race would just depend on your comfortability level with a lesser midsole height than typical race day options. I ve taken these on a 16 mile harder session and thoroughly enjoyed it. Once broken in the shoe becomes flexible and super natural. Weights good, nothing special. It's not the lightest but also nowhere near the heaviest. It's deceptively quick. Where this unit really excels though is comfort and versatility.

Ron I haven't ran in the ultraboost light yet! But from my understanding it is still quite heavy and has that plastic cage that wraps around the foot. I find that very uncomfortable and unforgiving. So with that in mind and this being my favorite daily trainer Adidas has ever made, I would have to say the SL is definitely a great choice

Is it cushioned and supportive enough for over weight person and for road running ?

I would say absolutely . It depends on what you're looking for . This one will feel more firm out of the box and I would not consider it "soft" at any point, but it limits impact quite nicely.

To me, the SL is a much better option than the Ride at $20.00 less. It really opens up with continued use. I don't get how the video reviewers can gush about the Ride and say the SL is too stiff.

I ve actually never ran in the ride. The SL breaks in perfectly . If the ride is anything like the Altra via Olympus, I have well over 75 miles in that shoe now and it's still completely rock solid. I can't say enough good things about the SL especially for the price
