Your Adder videos are informative. I have just checked mine and I don't have any issue with that mechanism that you've filed. It is flat and levelled perfectly. Must have been a manufacturing mishap with yours. I also would recommend strongly you to file the nocks of those cheap arrows to match the originals. The nocks on those arrows have sharper edges and it was causing wear on my string (so you were not wrong about those cheap arrows IMO). Also you can manufacture your own bolts with bodkin tips for 1/5 the original with higher quality. I can provide further info how to.
@M.A.Lamett...Would you please provide further information on how to manufacture bolts with bodkin tips for 1/5 the cost and higher quality than the original bolts???
I'm amazed your string glides over that part near the trigger so well. On mine there is a "pit" the string sinks into and pings back out of every time I cock it then again each time I fire. I have been trying to find a way to improve this.
@@silverbullet2008bbhey man if it helps I actually bought a tiny little file and filed those bits in this vid. It worked really well and was very easy
I respected ur advice last time so i was wondering if u know how to get parts for the inside of the trigger well the springgs that control the trigger system and makes the thing work ? Sorry don't know the name but i bought the upgrade but then lost the sping inside the trigger and now im useing another method but it works but continuously need to fix it please help me out again please m8
I ve gone through 2claws the thing that holds the string back and realises it to push the arrows out , twice now do u have an idea as to why this this happend, please let me know if u know why this is happening even though i clean and use weighted arrows cos its supposed to be better for the adder
Sometimes the bolts, inside the cross bow adder don’t line up the proper way, the bolts jam up inside sometimes, my advice, is, taking it nice and slow, and don’t try to shoot the bolts too fast, make sure your bolts are lined up really well, in every shot, to avoid the bolts from getting stuck, thank you
As a german im a little angry that you almost injured yourself (badly!) with the magazine shooting the bolt back at you. And now the mechanism has to be filed down to feed it right? Unacceptable. Jörg should have tested this a little longer. Did you just glue the velcro on?
My laser so far holes Zero well, I bought a laser that’s specifically for shotguns, but it works well for my crossbow Adder, I bought it through, Look for laser for a shotgun that’s how I found
I don’t use the two red lights anymore I use those two for flashlight, I only use another one that I glued it to the left that’s a green laser that’s special for shotguns which works for the crossbow Adder
If you saw my video you will know that I said specifically that my cross bow came with this defect, that doesn’t mean that all the other crossbow are going to be defect, maybe 1out of 1000 or 1 out of 2000 who knows, if you really want a crossbow Adder don’t worry about it just go ahead and buy one
really, i don't know what you are doing with your Adder, i have my for over a year, the new mag. since 5 month's, everything works perfect, i atched a video in which they tested the Adder ! in the video they will show you what happens when you don't load exactly, maybe you don't made the whole way until you hear how it catches the next bolt, nevertheless, they showed what happened after he shot the bow with a bolt where the arrowhead touched the magazine, the magazine was able to withhold the whole force, no explosion, nothing, you can't sell it in europe if it does not meet certain requirements, like a gun, it has to be safe even in case of a bullet Over Pression
One in a 1000, I guess my came defected from the warehouse, it happens nothing is perfect, but I fixed it and it’s working great, doesn’t get stock anymore. I am glad your came with no issues, enjoy friend, and be safe
Well you need to see my video, when the bolt flies out, I’m lucky It didn’t hit my face, after I adjust my crossbow Adder it doesn’t happen anymore, remember nothings perfect maybe during shipping it got messed up I don’t know, but I doubt it because the box came intact
It's the 90 lb limbs. The geometry isn't right and the string drags hard along the rail and grabs at the transition to the trigger box. The 90 lb practice limbs are a big problem.
