Adler M 2011 

Let's have a look at this beautiful Adler M 2011.
Back in 1954 when this bike rolled of the production line in Frankfurt it was designed as a comfortable and reliable workhorse for the everyday use. With 200 cc the model was right in the middle of the Adler lineup, as the biggest single cylinder, sharing the suspension with the higher models like the M 200 or M 250.
The bike belongs to my dad who owns it for over 40 years now. It's not in perfect condition but tells its stories from the past 60 + years. After 54.000 km the engine runs like on the first day and hasn't lost one of its 11 horses. It even reaches the top speed of about 100 km/h. Unfortunately, the suspension is far from perfect and the bike gets quite shaky and unstable under braking.
