I spent the last decade suffering on-and-off from chronic fatigue syndrome, under-eating (especially carboydrate) and plenty of binges along the way, running off caffeine. I was always hungry and fighting cravings for food like chocolate. It all stemmed from wanting to be as lean as possible for competitive cycling and, whether you call it a disorder or not, it had a hold on me for most of my adult life. 8 months ago I discovered that the key to all these issues was carboydrate, the body's fuel. I eat as much whole-food carboydrate as I can now, never restrict, and I have not had a craving since, I'm always satiated, my fatigue syndrome has more or less cleared up, I no longer 'need' caffeine and I feel fantastic. My athletic performance is improving all the time, which is a good sign I'm doing something right. All the talk about carboydrates making us fat is a total lie and it leads so many people to eating disorders and unhappiness. I'm just sharing this in case it helps someone, as I wish I had known this 10 years ago. It's not about will power at all when you give your body what it needs. If you read this then I hope whatever you choose to do, you can overcome any food related problems you may have. All the best. cheers
this is the first video on binge eating that is really giving a true path to walk on if you want to overcome the problem! stop fear stop restrictions stop bad dieting and try to figure it out bringing out the light. good job ;)
I watch too many Eaters and Cookers on RU-vid. As a result I think about food a lot. I lost weight, then put it back on when I overeat. I tend to overeat when Im stressed!! Im going off dieting now. Just eating 3 meals a day. Bigger meal at Breakfast, lighter at dinner. But it s so hard to eat less at dinner time. So I tried to go for s walk after dinner. 1 wk in so far..trying to take control of my eating habits. I exercise regularly for the last 15 years so no problem there. Just need to portion control !!!
i don't know if you know, but the star icon on your website page led me to an "error page" of youtube. i went on youtube and searched you by name of your website and found you. i learned about you through drew canole's emails. thank you!

Omg. It's my job! Every day is a battle to not eat out of the junk food machine. When I am at home I can control the impulses to overeat. I just sit on my butt all day, I get bored and feel empty. But I'm changing my career. I gained wait when I felt depressed but I have that handled.
G L Make sure to eat nourishing meals. Also be proactive and bring some snacks in instead of hitting the junk food machine. Allowing is key along with balance. Nothing wrong with allowing a treat. Just want to make sure you eat those meals. When we skip meals we tend to get cravings and then go into that mindless eating.
@@BrittanyBrowntv I try every day and I know to bring that stuff. If one thought of the junk enters my mind I obsess. I am leaving the company into work at home in 6 weeks. I've been trying to stop eating junk here forever and I can't. I drive up to 3 hours a day. It feels hopeless. I cant even breathe anymore and I can't bend over to tie my shoes. The weight hurts my joints and the bad food makes them sting. It's a nightmare. It's hell.
G L So sorry you are struggling. Lmk if you would like to talk for more personalized clarity and guidance. I would be happy to offer you a free breakthrough call. It’s a safe place to fill us in on your story so we can give you that personalized assessment. Just know freedom is so possible. 🙏💜
+light flight :thesea&thewoods: I struggled on and off for about 10 years up and down about 30 pounds through the process. Once I really started doing the internal work breaking out of the cycle of binge eating took about a year. Now my weight stays within 2-3 lbs of where my body naturally lands when it's happiest. However, it's not about the weight :)
+Laura DeNigris Hi Laura! Thanks so much. It varies depending on your needs. @@verypersonalsolioh. That's me. Fuck. 46 yrs old. Great. Nice mental health world I lived in most my effin life lol. Several yrs ago couldn't bother with the fasting diets or exercise because of deep depression from my parents dying. Just became bed.
I was with you until you got on the "true self" stuff. I'm Autistic. My true self is immutable. My true self has obsessive compulsions. Like, this would have been so good if you hadn't gone with the spiritual mumbo jumbo. That can only help a minority of people with BED who buy into that.
Erin McCrate I’ll never apologize for my spiritual belief. Sorry it offends you. I truly believe we are all connected in a spiritual way and believe that love and kindness will always win over hate and negativity. Wishing you all the best.
I can explain it differently so it may still be useful for you. When spiritual people say "true self" they are working under the premise that human beings are inherently lovable and don't need to be certain image or way like portrayed in movies or magazines to be lovable. That includes being livable and worthy of respect with whatever supposed flaws you may have. Including being neurodivergent. In fact you know very well ppl with autism do something called masking. So the version of yourself who isn't forced to make eye contact and who is forced to pretend to care to make small talk about the weather is your "authentic self". The version of yourself who tries is the mask. So the idea here is that maybe after a long social gathering, you may feel exhausted or maybe even shamed or bullied for not pulling off your facade. You could have negative emotions because of this and go to extremely large amounts of comfort food that release neurochemicals that relieve three stress and pain. So I'm recognizing this you may be able to protect your authentic self aka yourself by not subjecting yourself to this environment or by being more opened about autism and attempt more social situations without as much making or by making more friends with autism or with your particular special interests so you can experience more dopamine etc from socializing instead of pain. I don't know your particular circumstances but maybe that helps explain what you call mumbo jumbo in a less pop psych way.
