im glad we're all acknowledging how "anything" is a song that exists on the highest possible plane of music

"Anything" is just simply one of the best songs of the year

An album named Songs is honestly the ultimate power move

the thumbnail had a yellow flannel and when the video began with anthony wearing a normal tshirt, it felt dirty.

It looks like there is a little mini-moustache above his main moustache

Ingydar is one of my personal favorites on this record. I think the cyclical nature of the accompaniment works perfectly since she’s singing about the cyclical nature of time, life, and death. Fair enough, though, if you think it’s a bit too repetitive. Adrianne’s songwriting is so great that highlights and low points simply become a matter of personal taste.

Anything is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. Adrianne is an incredible song writer.

You kinda missed the genius of the lyrics at 3:31 for anything, if you switch the endings it makes more sense and once you realize this it's discombobulating in a great way, it becomes; "staring down the barrel of a shotgun/ shining with the sheen of the hot sun" Thought I'd point out cool lyricism!

She's the best singer-songwriter of our time

hankthony, i love your take on “not a lot, just forever”, and i believe that its lyricism is one of the album’s highlights. however, the distinction you gave it is more apropos to “ingydar”. with its subtle and hidden essence, “ingydar” has the best lyricism in the album, and it hypnotizes me in every listen

I’m so glad melon liked this album. I’ve been listening to it every day since it came out. The track Dragon Eyes in particular hits me pretty hard.
