Don’t waste your time getting ADT pulse cameras, unless you don’t mind paying $25 every time they stopped working. And the funny thing is they can’t even troubleshoot it for you without a lot of process. Worst decision I made spending all that money for equipments when they don’t even work properly. Stay away from ADT.
Wow your ha ing the same damn issue like me except I've had my truck broken into 3 times within the past 9 months and cameras never record not even my doorbell camera and they customer service sucks. Not worth the 3 year contract.
You mentioned all equipment from Xfinity Home is leased and that is not true. The only thing that is leased is the touch screen and it has no monthly fee. All other equipment is customer owned.
I'm paying $50 for Xfinity with 2 cameras and crap service. I'm switching to ADT. Also LIMITED automation features on Xfinity! 😥 (Like lower thermostat when alarm is set at night)
The only thing you compared was pricing and packages. How about camera quality etc..? This seems like a review from someone who never had the product in hand.
He hasn't. In fact, its only the cost of the camera to have camera feed. You don't get an extra bill per camera at $10 a month. That's only if you want 24/7 monitoring (misleading already) because all it does is record 24/7. For free, through xfinity, you can set an automated rule to record a 15 sec clip everytime the cam detects motion. You can also outright purchase the touchscreen for $300, so you can OWN all the products.
This guys is miss-informed, ADT is the worse company. Customer services doesn’t exist, if you have to call customer service with a problem, forget it not there, you’ll never get anyone to fix your problems. Look for local smaller companies they can do the same thing that ADT does for you for half the cost. ADT wanted to charge me $63 a month with a 48 month contract, I found a local company called pyramid at $23 a month and 12 months contract, same services everything that ADT offered me and a third it cost.
Also lets talk about Comcast ETFs, If you have Comcast services e.g. more than one line of business you can discontinue Xfinity home without being obligated to pay ETFs!
That is incorrect, the XFINITY home comes with its own agreement so if you get past the 30 day trial and want to cancel, the home has its own EFT that drops every month of service but can start out 660 for 2 years (depending on area/ market). The video is also incorrect, only the head unit or touch screen is leased and must be returned. The sensors and keypad are the clients. So if you get installed and need to move, you can bring the base equipment like sensors to your next location and when the tech installs you he will add 3 more contact sensors and another motion and keypad.
