The thing about The Mask is that it's not "a kids' movie" it was labelled as such by the ratings association because it is based on a comic book by people who do not understand that not ALL comics are Archie. Some comics are far more mature than ANY child should ever be exposed to. However the people rating these movies are so detached from reality that they see or hear animated or adapted from comic books and the immediately think "Oh for children" They more than likely have NEVER picked up a comic book in their lives, nor haven't seen anything animated that wasn't a Saturday Morning cartoon.
Don’t forget the Toy Story 2 post-credits scene of the “Casting Couch” reference. Where Stinky Pete offers two Barbie dolls a role in a film in exchange for sexual favors.
In defense of Jessica Rabbit Who Framed Roger Rabbit was not intended for kids. It was a noglastic movie for adults. There were plenty of adult jokes plus there was no way the shoe getting dipped was meant for kids to see.
I laughed at 2:43 when they showed smoke coming from the mystery machine and blu coughed at the same time. Unintentional for sure but the timing was perfect 🤣
These aren't kid's movies, they're family films. Intended for all ages. As a child, you didn't understand the adult humor because those jokes/references weren't meant for you. I don't know why people can't grasp this concept.
I like the communist message of Who Framed Roger Rabbit, which is that the solution to Toon Town's problems is common ownership and democratic control of the land.
I Must Remind everyone the reason Donkey & Dragon had babies is because when two-people love-each-other very-much they have a baby or litter or clutch-of-eggs: sometimes the mommy eats the dad, sometimes she disappears for a year then shows back up with an entourage of offspring, sometimes she glues the daddy to a brooded-clutch of eggs for his babies to eat: its all about them loving-each-other Very-Much! & That's why it smells funny after people visit.
James and the giant peach changing scene. By the way all Ants are automatically female except for the rare sausage fly which is super fat and longer with wings to match. The only fertile thing in an ant colony is the Queen. The rest don’t even have reproductive parts. Ants are female because of their ability to sense the pheromones of male sausage flies. Male ants don’t have that ability. Unfortunately sausage fly fates are terrible. They are usually captured by a colony and their wings are shredded and limbs hacked off, they are carried to the queen’s chamber and glued onto the wall. The queen uses that as an endless supply of sperm. The male is kept alive just not as clean. It’s a cruel fate.
I foget the movie name for the scene with the Chameleon and the stire dummy but it is a take off the scene in "Singing in the rain" with donald O'Conner doing "Make them Laugh".
I was told back in the day they put this stuff in movies so when adults took they kids to the movies they could be entertained also kids didn’t know what they was watching

Who Framed Rodger Rabbit will be the only film at which both Warner Brothers and Disney Characters were in the same film. They can't get along at all enough to do such a project anymore.
I'd like to think Blu is as innocent as she portrays herself but ends the episode with the skin-tight shirt sticking out her chest. She may be adorable, I like most of the content, but I'm not sure I buy the innocent persona.

hold your horses there mr. "won't somebody think of the children..." first of all, most of these weren't "kids" movies, 2nd of all, the whole point is that kids don't get these jokes anyway. so removing them, makes no sense.
