They made What Makes You Beautiful when they were 17-18 now they're 23-24, people need to stop associating them only with their early music. They have 5 albums, and I'm sure if the reactors heard their latest album, they'd be shocked to see how much One Direction's style of music changed. Also, Louis is amazing and has a beautiful voice and is in no way shape or form the least talented.

I’m the last person to say anything at all especially if it’s something on RU-vid or something but it makes me mad that ppl think that wmyb is all 1d was... like yea that was one of their most popular songs but that 1. Doesn’t mean it was the best of the songs 2. They were so young when they recorded that like that isn’t what they sounded like on Four or Mitam they sounded much better bc they are older have have more experience 3. They don’t know any meaning behind the songs that they make. Go listen to something like Fools Gold or something less popular and shows off what type of artists they really are before u can judge! the issue here is that louis’s music has grown and changed SO MUCH musically since this video. gotta love just hold on, my favourite louis song, BUT he was aiming for popularity and what would chart back then rather than what he wants to make. he now goes for a more rock influenced genre which suits his voice so much better.

It's just their personal opinions. They're adults, they didn't live in your One Direction bubble, "other than Madison" but she was probably in the, "Harry Styles" bubble. To be honest, Zayn and Harry have the best vocal reach, reaching high C#2, and loud Mezzo-Soprano and Soprano, Liam can do those notes's too, its just, he's lazy. Naill can hit a C#1, which really surprised me, because he didn't have many solo's in 1D. But Louis, he CAN hit the same notes' Niall can, but he doesn't do them probably. This is because he is singing threw his nose, which is a cause of trying to sing threw your stomach (the correct way) but not having the right vocal technique to do it, from my experience, he needs around 1-2 1/2 years' of vocal training before he can sing technically. Harry dealt with this problem before, but after his latest album came out, and vocal live performances, he is doing MUCH better, probably putting him 2nd, Zayn being first.

as much as i love zayn and his music its definitely harry both in terms of popularity and quality. harry's first album is rolling stones/fleetwood mac level good (and u can see their influence in his music) but to each their own.

The last time most of these people listened to One Direction was probably in 2010 bc they compared their solo work to What Makes You Beautiful, but if you had compared it to songs from their 2015 album it wouldn't have been that surprising because MITAM is damn good in my opinion.
