Each year we put on some Canyoneering Training Courses. These are three days of intense hands on training where we learn skills and then go out and practice them. It's a fun 3 days where we not only learn new skills, but meet old and new friends. Check out out website link below for finding information on signing up for the next Advanced training course. We also can offer private course training if you would like a more 1:1 approach for you or a group you put together.
We also uploaded all the Raw footage shot during the three days to our Patreon page. If you wanna watch more of the techniques and see more of the training consider joining our Patreon family and supporting the great outdoor content we offer (ok we think it's great).

Thanks for the video. Gives me a good idea of what to expect. I might sign up for this after I get a little more fit.

Thanks for watching :) . I watch a lot of ice fishing guys that are from Canada. I'd love to come up and go fishing up there someday. Lots of great waters, and amazing walleye action.

Thank you sir! It's been a rough go lately to get any videos done. I've been working on one edit since end of September when I finished this video. I just can't get enough consistent time to spend completing it. We are doing well and have just been way busy with life and full time job. Hopefully soon I'll get one up. (I have been able to get a couple short ones up on our Patreon page :) )

Hey Jared, i was just thinking, is there a reason to use a quick draw over just using a single caribiner for a courtesy anchor?
@NorthWashOutdoors

The quick draw just gives some distance between the two connection points. Sometimes it helps keep things separated and makes the contingency anchor cleaner and easier to use. But I have done it both ways with a quick draw and also with just a single carabiner. Just circumstantial as well as what I have immediately available to me.

Sounds good. I was planning on getting a quick draw anyway, I just wanted to be sure there wasn't a safety concern using a single caribiner. Thank you for sharing your expertise!
