Advanced Gun Dog Drill! 

I know next to nothing about hunting other than growing up in the country and being around it my whole life but I find all your videos so interesting and very much enjoy watching them. How do you clear up bad (cigar) holds on canvas bumpers? During fetch and hold conditioning his hold is perfect. But on retrieves I might get 4/10 to come back with a decent center hold. Loves the dumbbell style plastic and will return 9/10 perfect center hold with it. Thanks in advance!

How old is quinn? My soon to be 6 month old lab must be behind in his training. Looks to be about the same size. I had decent obedience at 4 months, and its degraded. He is also a chomper. Love to fetch, but doesnt like to drop and come to hand. Sometimes plays keep away which I HATE. I have e collar but havent used it yet. Time to start collar conditioning with obedience I guess. Im also guessing I need to start doing some forced fetch work on a tailgate or make a table so I can star that process. Any advice appreciated. Ive been trying to watch some of your videos over the last month or 2, and there is a lot of info your providing! thanks!
