That dove-tail jig looks easy to make rather than buy. Hardboard would be fine... laminating 2 ea. 1/4 pcs.. You can create any "SPACING" size jig you need or want. Also regarding that "proprietary dovetail bit"...I pressed a bearing on a dovetail bit and on top of that I locked a collar to ensure no movement on the bearing. Works the same as that bit.

Brilliant!, now a question for you boys as no one else has managed to answer this. I bought what I think is a dovetail jig, looks the same except I discovered the top horizontal mount template does not meet flush with the board, there is about 1.5" gap, do you know what this is for?
