Hello thanks great video When I use the smart connection option with 2.5, 5 and 5 for games, when I go to a farther place, I can see that I still have a lot of signal but the internet goes away. For now to solve it I have had to deactivate the smart connection and connect devices separately to 2.5 and 5 and there it works without problems when I change rooms in the house. Do you have any options that could be causing this?
Hi, thanks for the review, great information. After watching the video, I purchased this router. Setup was strait forward, however after configuring the router I have issues with upload speeds when connected via Ethernet cable from my desktop. Cannot get more than 3 Gbps upload speed even though my old Netgear mesh router got 22 Gbps. If I connect via WiFi I get the full 22 Gbps. WiFi faster than hard wired Ethernet, strange. Any ideas regarding settings etc. that effect/increasing the upload speed would be appreciated.
if you getting lag while gaming on wifi, change channel width to 80mhz instead of 160mhz!! I have bad experience with 6to4 tunnel I recommend disable IPV6 if it not supported by ISP!! netgear routers TP LINK AX11000 no issues at all, just make sure air time fairness on as well mu-mimo
@@djRoyalTee ok last recommendation put your gaming device on high priority from game dashboard it will boost the smoothness of your gameplay further I am currently using Netgear XR1000 is the best gaming router for sure if you playing using cable!
@@djRoyalTee sorry I forget If you facing lag using wifi make sure the device region for example PS5 matches the router firmware region this the primary reason of wifi lag because region to region there's different regulations for wifi I tried changing my AX11000 region from US to EU solves my wifi lag issue because my PS5 EU region
@13:13 Why wouldn't it stream 4k without any issues? I have a old Linksys that currently uses a USB 3.o drive and I stream 4k content to any device. I figured this HAS to be better than that... One of the reasons I upgraded. Well, Guess i'll find out. Fantastic info on here. TY.
Hello, good afternoon, friend. I see that this router does not have bandwidth control. Do you know if there is any way to individually manage the speed of the connected devices, it makes me desperate that it does not have that option😵💫
NordVPN has been the best and most reliable I have personal found, there is a link here for setup: support.nordvpn.com/Connectivity/Router/1877338602/Setting-up-TP-Link-with-NordVPN.htm Also here is the TP-Link for the VPN: community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/272492
Hi i really liked your video. I have Ground + one house proble is wifi. i have TP-Link RE505X AX1500 Dual Band to create a mesh network i have 4 in total. What will be a good router with Mesh to buy i am looking for TP link Please suggest thanks
If you need a mesh system and want to stick with the tp-link then the New Deco X90 AX6600 Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi System would be the best as has good hardware and uses WiFi 6. If you can wait for a few months then some new WiFi 6e mesh systems are coming out.
@@EclipseReviews 0k thank you. I have the same Asus GT-AX11000 router and have been pretty happy with it. I followed your advanced settings video and made the same adjustments to mine to see if I could get better results. I actually have 2 of these in mesh mode for extended wifi.
I have 1.2gb internet and speeds only reach 600 to 650 with this router yet the new xfinity modem router combo gets 1300. How can i set this up to make it run better?
Question: I have 7 ethernet cables plugged into the router. When reviewing the ‘Ethernet Status’ section I only see two of 7 ethernet port icons lighting up white and displaying ‘1000 Mbps Full Duplex’ while the other 5 are mute and no wording. What does that mean?
Within the setting under 'Wireless' You need to make sure to Enable "5GHz-2:". You then should see Network Name (SSID): TP-Link_22DD_5G_Gaming when searching for wifi networks
the router when QoS set to gaming, the router was able to identify all games including battlefield 1,5 you will see controller icon, more over you can enable game accelerator to make sure just make sure air time fairness enabled as well MU-MIMO and OFDMA
The AX11000 only supports the LAN link aggregation, it doesn't support the WAN link aggregation. If you want to configure the LAN link aggregation, you may refer to the below: www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1583/
I have been trying for hours to get my Xbox Series X, PS5, and Switch connected to this thing. Ethernet or wifi will not connect. Every other device I own works great. This router seems to be racist against video game consoles here.
Do not buy this router. It seems to split the bandwidth available and I can't stop it from doing that. I've tried disabling one mesh and QOS but it still limits my ethernet connected PC to 600mbps (half). If I run a speed test on my PC and my wifi6 phone then it will deliver the full connection, split over both devices but it can't do it to one single device. Forums everywhere are saying this yet tp link won't release an update to rectify the issues. My archer C5400X was better! Wish it had 2.5 giga wan port!!!
I experienced the same thing as well. What I did was I got a ubiquiti edge router x for about $60 and put it between the modem and the wireless router. The Ethernet drops I have now go to the edge router x and I get ~300Mbit more down. No noticeable change for upload speeds but I do not have symmetric, it’s 1Gbit/40Mbit connection from ISP
