i have a tip for people under 50 kc still getting used to increasing your success rate. ignore all advice that says to attack while dodging tornadoes, ignore 5-1, ignore advice that says only eat while running from tornadoes. eat food whenever you want, focus only on prayer/tornadoes/orange tiles during tornado phase, play it safe and safe up to high health. all of these things will make you slower, but you will learn CG faster if you aren't dead the time lost from failing a run is way higher than the time lost from not using a speedrun strat, so get your success rate over 90% as quickly as possible by making it as easy as possible on yourself, then once your success rate gets high and consistent, consider thinking about how long each run takes
This is generally good advice depending on your levels. I started CG around 95 cb and really noticed the lack of dps if I stopped attacking during every tornado attack. It's a balance between attacking during tornadoes when the tiles are still easy and knowing when to just eat/walk when the tiles suck.
Something to add about the demi bosses. If you find yourself in a position where you have to kill two of the same demi. You can use the spike on the pestle and mortar and receive a significant amount of crystal shards. This means you get more economy and killing a duplicate demi isn't an entire waste of time.
According to the speedruns ive seen: a better time can be achieved by popping venge on the demibosses. You can eat when getting other supplies, which saves you time in the boss fight where you can do more dps. Thanks for the vid!

Didn't know you can run through tornadoes like that, let alone do the woox walk. Really made the fight easier since during the 3rd phase I sometimes started panic clicking all over the place
I have had 80 deaths in the corrupted gaunt before I finally started getting consistent kills (this just happened). I have watched all of these videos and nothing was helping me, one thing I wish people would mention is you NEED F KEYS!!! I've never used them throughout the game and can do almost all the content in the game up to this point, I had to learn F keys specifically for this boss. I noticed in your video you were using F keys, and I bet a lot of people don't think to say it because they have been using them all along. Maybe I am the first person to not use them, but if you are having trouble and aren't that it might be what you need. It only took me about 2-3 kills to get used to F keys and then it didn't matter that I wasn't used to them.
How do you move the camera if your left hand is on the F keys? that is my big issue. Im just so used to keeping my right hand on the mouse and my left hand moving the camera
@@forceofinterest7053 I have runelite changing it so I move my camera with wasd instead of arrows. I also have it changed so each "f key" is actually my numbers. It just so happens they are close to each other on my laptop. You can get used to lowering your finger to hit it.
thank you very much for the guide, after doing a few normal gauntlets with it (which were pretty easy then) I got the corrupted gauntlet done on my 5th attempt (two of which were scuffed because i was too stupid to make a stamina potion early and couldnt cook food in time because i wasted some time doing stupid stuff, in the othe one i tried to stay low and got lighning struck with a full inv of food lol) :] always thought armor was important and was wondering how anyone could get higher than T1 in corrupted but it really ain't necessary, you should normally also have some wiggle room for minor screwups so after all it's not as tight as I imagined it to be
from what I have seen so far T2 is impossible to make in corrupted without making concession like less food or t2 weapon, T1 allows you to confortably makes two t3 weapons and get prep ready under the timer. For T2 to be confortable you would need 30 second mores if not one minute more. Anyone else who can do t2 confortably is a liar simple as.
Been able to do no gear prep at normal gauntlet but somehow when trying to do corrupted even if the wepons are fully upgraded i see it misses a lot of hits, which ends up to fk me over taking too long to kill it and ending up taking too much damage but after watching the vid will try and see if i can get at least stable kills at currupted. Hopefully not rage quit it xD its my fav pet even tho i hate to kill the boss it self. Really helpful vid, thanks!
@@TryHardCasual tried a few kills today and damn bro it makes a big difference since im not even 90 on at least 1 combat style, manage to do 4 kills in a row without dying and got a blade :D
For sure then, the damage difference would be very noticeable. I would try to get the Halberd as one of your weapons each time until the other stats catch up
the forget to cook your food, i did that once and was just forced to redemption prayer, and only managed to get the hunleff to sub 100 hp. i was so mad. if it was regular gauntlet im sure i woulda been fine but c gauntlet is unfair sometimes lol
For sure, it'll still be possible. You'll want to make sure you have as much food as you can though, just in case the fight goes on a bit longer than if you had the upgraded prayers
still dont understand how people complete corrupted gauntlet, i have 99hp, and 92 all other combat stats, i have perfect prayers, dont step on dangerous tiles and dont get hit by tornadoes and im doing 5:1 pretty well but i still run out of food every time i try to get a kill
Tbh, all I do is count my attacks and then react to the Hunllef's attack style changes. Trying to keep track of the Hunllef's attacks at the same time was too much for my smooth brain to process
"The best 2 weapons to have are the halberd and the bow" The tier 3 bow is less than 0.1% better than the staff with 99 ranged and rigour active. I'm guessing you were talking about the pre-buff staff, but the buff had already been live for a full month when this video went up. What the hell man?
To be honest I made this video two years ago and I don't remember how I came to that conclusion. That might have been before I started using a DPS Calc and I was going off of hearsay from other content creators/my friends that play. I apologize.
Can do without those with exp, t3 gear and full invent of food(rodie did like 1k kc on a hc like that)but for your average player obviously you would want the best prayers for one of the hardest pieces of content in the game
