My AEA .50 standard length will be arriving on Wednesday with the DonnyFL emperor. Mr. Hollowpoint slugs arrived today and I’m getting anxious. I got 235, 258, and 280’s. Should be a blast pun intended. Your videos helped me decide which big bore I wanted and I’m happy I went with AEA.

actually a good hunting rifle would have readily available molds for the slugs/bullets. so does anyone have a link for slugs.bullets for this .495cal barrel? the lee combo real bullet mold for 320gr will work but the one for 250grain is too large a caliber , need that 250 one in a under .500 mold and any hollowpoint or hollow base or dish base mold for .495 would be appreciated, and if you have a link for a sized down mine-ball for .495 ill marry ya. is there a resizing die that is readily available for .495? see its only a good rifle if you can cast and shoot after they turn off the electricity, gx l3 compressor. deep cell battery and inverter with a solar panel or wind mill and you can shoot get the casting stuff and you can shoot and cast lead. now thats a good hunting rifle... and thats the last word for ya
3800-2350 is sweet spot for the big bore platforms . 4100 is prime for a figh pressure fill. and if they get a regulator id set it at 2300psi and fill to 4100psi.
bought a 459 hollowbase , lee mold, i altered it by drilling out the hollow base to .492 with a 12.5mm cobalt drill bit. now polishing it out to .495 ... it started a s 405gr but it is heavier now, i do not know how heavy(?420-460gr ? i will need them tested, i dont have a .50 challenger big bore. so if maccabespeed cant test them , would you like to terry it is a bullet that did not exist yesterday, h?
guess it looks interesting, starts .459 swc with a gas check and then my alteration , ending in a hollow base insert , that is for the .459 , but now it is .492 so the skirt is thick and the hollow small. making a tapered bullet with gas checks and i am very interested in finding out how it flys. i am ordering good virgin lead and will cast some up at the beginning of october. wish there was someone in texas near dallas that had an AEA .50cal , they could shoot , right here in my yard , basic 20yd range here . i wont let myself buy a .50big bore till i can prove i can cast the ammo. this is the heavy projectile ive created. i still have to create a small one near 236 gr. yup will drill a .452 220gr out to whatever it weighs at .495diameter.
still working on adjusting the mechanical working of the insert . the drilling was a success, the insert is not fitting back like it started, so have to adjust. so what is the news on the new big bores with regulators? just say dec or jan ...
Where these tests done stock strait out of the box without any adjustments the reason I ask is because the foot pounds are much higher than advertised??
I don't like the design of that rifle, I prefer the standard, they should make the 45 50 calibers with more power the same as the Cal 58 and 72 generation 2 would be magnificent.
@@DLC-music I have the great kami from Donny fl on me Aea challenger bullpup 50cal and the only noise is the spring but that normal.soon or later they I’ll make a regulator for bigbore rifles that I’ll fix the spring and air tube noise but still using the Donny fl moderator you not long ear the air blast
Very nice rifle. Over 630 fpe with only a 300 grn slug! What’s the biggest slug that rifle will eat? It takes my .457 Texan pushing 405 grn slugs to reach about 650 fpe.
