How can I put this…..arsenals are like a base model car. AERA’s are like F1 super cars! I really shouldn’t have even put these two products In The same video. I’ll be redoing this video soon.
@@DownhillDummies have you tried other trucks you could compare them to? I'm curious how arsenals hold at high speeds, what is the fastest you feel comfortable with on arsenals?
@@xerxesdacat I guess you could compare them to Caliber 2 trucks. However, Arsenals have rake, and Calibers have 0 rake. I'd say, once you dial in the trucks with the proper bushing/pivot set up for your weight, they can be a stable truck for just about any kind of riding under 45mph. Any kind of speeds past that you'll want a precision set of trucks.
What baseplates are you running? I have mine set up with a 46 in the front and a 30 de-wedged -7 to 23 degrees. My bushing set up is Venom short barrels (if you run shorts you'll need a tall kingpin nut) front truck: 78a bs/rs rear truck: 93a bs / 90a rs (bs=boardside rs=roadside) I hope this helps.
