In March 2011 Japan was beset by a huge earthquake, a monstrous tsunami and the subsequent meltdown of the Fukushima nuclear plant. In the autumn of 2011, despite advice to the contrary, Aerosmith brought their "Back On The Road" tour to Japan, a country with which they'd always had a special relationship. The Japanese fans came out in their droves and Aerosmith responded with some of the finest gigs of their distinguished career. This film follows the band on that tour combining full length live tracks with behind the scenes footage which is at times touching and emotional and at others humorous and insightful. More than anything else it demonstrates the Japanese fans' love affair with Aerosmith and their music.

Aerosmith is by far the best band playing right now in real time.They are so tight and Tyler’s voice is the same and perry will underrated.In the seventies they were in the same class as Zeppelin Purple Sabbath

joe foley Yeh, AC/DC is sick too, their 2009 show in Argentina was amazing. I honestly can't say who the best is. I know that many bands like Motley Crue (although awesome when you hear them on the radio) suck ass when they play live: it honestly is painful to listen to.

I love this song until the 4 minute mark, what follows, well, it just kills the beat of the song, and Tom did such an awesome job on the bass. LOVE Aerosmith, love this song, I just thing it was a little too long. JMO. There is nothing like Aerosmith. I don't care who you hear playing, there is no one that plays so well together and these guys. Let the music do the talking. :) Rock on boys.
