I upgraded my stock exhausts on my Interceptor 650 Chrome (Glitter and Dust) to AEW exhausts. I bought them from Open Roads in Pune along with crash guards and finally managed to get them installed at my friend Adnane's place.

I put those AEW silencers on my ravishing red Interceptor without baffles after removing the packing first. WOW! A deep, throaty ROAR! It will definitely compete with those loud-assed Harley riders!

Though these exhausts are good, if you can, try to get the S&S ones. Best sounding ones in the market as of now.

It's too loud actually. A bit uncomfortable once the initial 5 mins of thrill is over. I'm going to put the DB killers back in.

Bro, the showroom is having trouble fitting the AEW exhaust without the DB Killer. Saying they don’t have that specific Allen key. Can you please help me figure it out? Thanks a ton. Keep posting vids, always like your point of view

That's not correct. I took a normal Alan key and opened it up. Nothing special about it. If they can't do it, go to another mechanic and do it. Took me 30 seconds to get it out.

Why not get jam tins? They are very cheap and at least you get something for breakfast. Do you have jam recommendations instead of bikes sounding like a backyard hack?

Hi marthin I am experiencing a significant drop in the economy and performance in higher Rev range after changing my exhaust to aew t102 also the exhaust is cool but experiencing an increased engien heat. Pls let me know your findings on this. I am suspicious that this might effect the engien life also

Any performance upgrade is likely to have an effect on the engine. Fuel consumption is the first thing to get hit. Can't have performance and fuel economy, pick one.

@@bharadwaj0072002 No I don't think so. Unless you really rev it hard all the time especially on cold starts just to hear the exhaust note. Ride it normally and it should be fine.

Sounds good , But will sparks come out from pipes with baffles removed ..gess thay are called spark arrestors also. ?

I can't see them yet. The bike is just 450kms old...not even through it's first service yet.

I ordered it from www.openroads.in and had it delivered in India. I picked it up on one of my trips. Call them and give them my reference for a discount.

Hey Martin, I'm in Dubai as well and just got my INT650, have you tried or heard any other exhuasts? I'm stuck, and although the video helps, you never know the true sound until they are on in person.

Mate, by the way. Am thinking of fitting the interceptor with continental GT footpegs. To get over the foot rest issue. What’s your 2 cents? I read it somewhere, but haven’t come across a lot of ppl doing it
