I know it was coincidental, but most of the rule mistakes made in this game helped Cam out quite a bit. No dig at Cameron, our mighty murderhobo warlord, but it was interesting to notice. 1. giving cameron double the number of starting gear (should only start with the gear denoted on the specific vagabond character card, not all the possible starting gear). To be honest, this mistake alone was massively gamebreaking. 2. forgetting that when vagabond moves into a hostile controlled territory, he must spend an extra boot 3. Cameron crafting in incorrect locations. 4. aid by itself does not reward victory points, only when relationships improve does VP get rewarded. Instead of receiving 4 victory points, he should have received only 2 from the relationship increase (and the 3rd aid would have done nothing) 5. Vagabond is considered defenseless when all his swords are damaged (not exhausted). after the 2nd battle, cameron damaged all his swords. therefore, ben should have not taken any damage, and he should have dealt 1 extra guaranteed wound. 6. Kathleen seemed to not know that despite nominally being in good standing with Cam, she could have attacked him to hinder him if she deemed him far enough ahead. Edit: 7. Cameron doesn't get points for killing Ben's units via crossbow. He only gets points from battles, and strike actions simply remove the pieces without battling. Cam had way more points than he should have actually had.
This is probably more rules they missed on one character than most games have at all. Like with a game this complex it's inevitable they're gonna mess something up. It's a bit much.
A number of rules errors... was a really fun game to watch though! One important thing to note for the Vagabond scoring is they only get points for defeating hostile pieces on their own turn. So he'd have had a great deal less points. The Cats also had a number of times where they recruited twice during the same turn. And he also crafted using wood in a clearing that he didn't rule (was full of birds). I am looking forward to the later videos!
@2:17:58 Cameron has too many items. The exhausted tea and bag need to go into his satchel which now exceed his limit and then he needs to discard 2 items off the board and into the box.
1:45:05 Ian recruits twice in the same turn, placing 6 cats. Everyone notices that "it's a lot of cats" but, unless I am wrong, he can only recruit once per turn.
Only a little through the video so it may be fixed but Cam is starting with more gear then he should. Generally you only begin with 4 gear cards as denoted by the character card with more gear being discovered or crafted
