@@porscheman998 maybe, but how could this album possibly be underrated ??? The Fear of the Dark has become a staple song, in every single show they ever make, this fantastic song seems to be loved by all, and the love song: Waisting love is also highly praised....I don´t see it very often as " the best album " I´ll give you that, but do you really think it´s underrated ??
@@susannewilliamsson8339 Fear of the Dark received mixed reviews at the time, many die hard fans thought Maiden sold out, as many of the songs are quite short and not typical Maiden. Nonetheless i love the album, different but still has some catchy songs, of course the song Fear of the Dark has become fans favorite since.
@@jeremycubs8331 according to most of their fans it is the number one hit, at least as crowd participation is concerned. NO matter if you like it or not it is something almost hypnotizing to see and hear a crowd of many thousands people chiming, dancing and shouting beneath the stage..... Totally overwhelming!
@@susannewilliamsson8339 absolutely agree, Iron Maiden has become bigger than life, and the only band to match their fans would be Metallica. Currently they are the 2 top metal bands in the world. Iron Maiden is also synonymous of anything metal.
This was the song that actually got me in to an Iron Maiden marathon...and since that day I´ve never looked back. Look at theese guys, glowing on stage, and their guitars are singing in the harmonies of perfection....this song takes you beyond euphoria, far beyond !!!
This song like so many Maiden songs has a medieval sound to it.Hard to describe but starts at 3:31 .I see castles and ancient times of Scottish history and knights in armour on horseback.I know that sounds strange but thats what I invision.Maybe Steve Harris was a musician of old and has come back as the man behind Iron Maiden.The Clansman is another ballad/song that comes to mind.UP THE IRONS!
@Michivonundzulaut Janick is right there! Adrian Smith wasnt there at that time. This is on the tour for the album fear of the dark that came out in 1992. This concert was in 1993 though, there is a live dvd of it.

i always thought this was an awesome RAW live sound... not the big stadium or outdoor venue... but a small club... the guitars have much more presence :) up the irons
are you kidding? bruce has a much wider range. I guess if your into low pitched songs. The albums he did with maiden were failures compared to the other stuff they did with bruce.
