I'd like to see a video about the employees who make the Jim Green shoes.

Got a steel-toe pair and then got my fiancé the crazy horse ladies’ pair. Could not be happier with the product. There was a shipping fee to get them to Australia but for me it was a small price to pay; this company has made me a little crazy, I have never been so excited about my boots before! Haha

Love these "how they're made" videos! They really tell the story of Jim Green quality and craftsmanship. Also love the videos of the work Jim Green is doing with the African Rangers, and of course I love the products. Jim Green makes some great boots, and I truly believe they represent the best value in rugged boots on the market today. Keep up the good work, and thanks for the entertaining and informative vids!

I've had mine for over a year. My advice. Get you a pair!

The Stockman got me into the Jim Green boots. Many years ago. I still have it and resoled it twice already. I have really put it through its paces and walked it through water, dust, mud and tar. Now the midsole is cracked at the ball of my foot, some stitching has become undone at the heel and the elastic stretched. I kept it polished and cleaned after every abuse in the hard African conditions. Very few boots will live up to the quality of Jim Green boots. They are superb.

The skill in the hands of these workers is incredibly impressive! I would love to work there and learn from them!

A word of warning to anyone considering these boots. Although I found the fit and construction stellar! I work in sometimes wet conditions and also living in rainy New Zealand, I would compare it to walking on an ice rink. For any wet/slick surfaces. This is with the standard non-wedge sole. My previous experience was wearing RedBacks which had far better grip although, a softer probably less durable compound. So consider the conditions you might be using these boots in. It's possible their other sole options are better in these circumstances.

My Stockman has been my go-to weekend boot.

This is the most superb tutorial I've seen on making boots! Only thing I'd change is maybe showing how to do it if you're on the trail and left the pressing machines at home. =p

Just got a pair about a month ago and I feel like I probably won’t have to buy another pair of boots for years haha. Great boots and they’re nice and wide in the toe. You may need a different insole but best boot for the money I think you can find. Great job!

Hi Jim Green group. So glad I found U❤Just got my boots, got the size 9, i overlap the insole with my old insole from my old blundstones size 8 and they are the same length/size. I have a Roman type of toes which makes this boot perfect because of the extra space in the toes. However my toes feel pressure from the top... I can wiggle them but not as much as I wish I could. Without the insole the toes feel a lot better. Maybe I need a size 10? If i step on Stockman insole i can see about 1cm clearance. Is that enough? I'm not sure about the size. If I use a normal sock the fit it's fine, a warmer one also fine everywhere but tight on the top of the toes( without insole feels a lot roomier, maybe too much) I know half size increase the width but I don't think this will help. Is it worth to stretch the toe box? I have the right tool. If so, what would be the best way since there's thermoplastic? Thank you so much. I'll buy soon the shoellie. 😊

My next pair of boots has to be JG. They are definately better than the terrible boots I bought from a manufacturer in the Midlands area of KwaZulu Natal. Constant problems with stitching undoing and soles coming adrift and they are supposed to be hiking boots and are not waterproof. I was told I had to buy some expensive waterproofing gunge to apply to make them so. WTF. Hiking boots should, by definition, be waterproof by design. Regards from South Africa

I have a question for the people of Jim Green. I'm a bricklayer and no matter what kind, or quality of boot I buy it seems like the boots get eaten away by mortar. Not sure if it's the lime in mortar or what but what I want to know is what would be the best preventive care for boots that have to deal with mortar?
