In this video you get to see how African recycled glass beads are produced in Ghana, with great details and instructions.
We take a lot of pride and focus when it comes to delivering the best, most comprehensive and creative African art. It’s very important for us to educate our audience and bring in all the necessary information regarding this unique, yet different process.
As you can see in the video, our African recycled glass beads are carefully chosen and then we use our craftsmanship and experience to turn them into incredible, colorful bracelets or necklaces. We also use them to create African waist beads. It’s imperative for us to maintain the original manufacturing process, while also paying homage and respecting the original tradition that came from locals in Ghana.
In fact, the Krobo people from Ghana are the ones that created and used these beads for ceremonial and also traditional purposes, for many centuries. Additionally, many of these beads are imitating the antique Venetian African trade beads.
Over the years, handmade jewelry created from Krobo glass has quickly become widely sought after all over the world. Now everyone wants original African recycled glass beads or jewelry created with them, and we are here to help.
This video showcases how much care and attention is put into every product. We have a very strict quality assurance system to ensure that our customers only receive the best possible products.
If you want this type of product, don’t hesitate to browse our store today at www.tribalgh.com

My sister your organization is wonderful ❤️. Please have the works place clothes or 😷 over the face to protect their lungs from inhaling powdered glass.

Wonderful!!! no wonder these beads each have its very own character!!!Passing through so many diligent hands using the most basic of tools, each bead speaks for itself!!Now that is where I would love to work every day of my life , outside under some cover from the sun, along side equally lovely people working with their hands. No heavy machines, but created by hand. God bless each of those creative people, and each bead the make!

This is amazing since I always use recycled glass beads from Ghana, but I agree I think these workers should be provided with masks and better protection. Overtime that powdered glass will ruin their lungs.

I am a bead maker and the lack of protection for the workers is alarming. The dust from the powdered glass will permanently damage your lungs, lovely beads but at what cost to your health.

Immediately shocking to anyone that works with glass! The investment (mold material) floats in the air and is like breathing ground glass. The powdered glass itself is also incredibly bad for lungs and eyes. Pounding those bottles into powder with no safety goggles or mask is crazy.
