With all due respect there's problems everywhere not just Cambodia, even in the U.S. Prices have gone up homeless people everywhere especially here in NYC. The current administration is not making it any better. I'm not sure where there is an ideal place to move to without some issues.

@@Reastein2024 of course theres no ideal place. This is where my khmer borned raised friends humbled me becauae they said at least for the US, you can depend on their healthcare, free education, and even free government aid if you needed. In Cambodia, theres no such thing as what i listed above. And on top of that, its now getting expensive to live in Cambodia because of foreign settlements there. If you have nothing, you will literally die on the streets and no one would bat an eye. Of course america isn’t the ideal place but its definitely an upgrade. I’m khmer american and i always said america is shit but my khmer friends said i should really be grateful for the opportunities i had growing up here. Thats why a lot of foreigners who live in america are so driven because they dont want to live that risk they have back in their country which is sad. And dont even get me started on the government corruption in cambodia lol.

@@iamgem please don't get me wrong I do agree with you. I'm still grateful to live in the U.S have many opportunities not really available in srok Khmer but things have definitely changed for sure. I'm really not in the know of what's happening in Cambodian politics didn't know Hun Manet is the prime minister now lol..I hope things will improve under his leadership but we will see I guess. We know corruption exist everywhere even in the U.S

⁠​⁠@@iamgemit all really comes down to a plan and purpose which I’m sure Cambo Vlogs already has for him and his family. Let me tell you something because I am American. America has gotten quite pricey and socially unstable even natural born Americans can’t afford or stand one another as of now. To the people who come from countries with hardships, America is a upgrade because they have more “economic” opportunity. If they work hard, they can succeed in America. Natural born Americans want to make enough money to settle peacefully in a country like Cambodia or Mexico. American citizens don’t have the drive as immigrants because we were already born in the American beast system and understand how nefarious it is and what our government does to other nations. Latin American immigrants are an interesting demographics. They come to America, take the jobs, talk down on America, and then bring the American money back to their homeland countries and live a comfy life. There are some immigrants and Americans that are grateful to live in America, others take advantage of it or maybe their just want a change in life. Personally I’m on spiritual path and war. Cambodia is perfect to learn spirituality and Buddhism. Southeast Asia in general. I want to give back by taking the finances I have in the west and be in the creative industry. Hire Khmer people and give them opportunity.

Pros and cons. Cambodia is pretty much in debt to China at this point and yes its an improvement on the outside but the issues still remain on the inside with the local cambodians themselves. Foreigners and chinese are thriving while the local people are suffering because of the corrupt government. Theres no such thing as a “fair election.” The money the government gets isnt used for the people, they pocket it or use it as investments. Thats the problem.
