so a lot of people have been questioning whether this is actually my first time or not and for one I’m flattered lmao. alight motion is EXTREMELY similar to after effects and I already have knowledge on keyframing, graphs, names of certain effects, precomposition, etc. so of course I’m going to take that knowledge into this subconsciously. there would be absolutely no point to this video if I already knew how to use it. Also, there were a lot of things that I struggled with in this video that are being overlooked 😂 just a heads up this is completely real
Thank you very much for making this video! We're glad you liked the app! We hope to see more videos of you making edits while on the run (but not from the police). :)
that's because alight motion is reallyyy similar to after effects, if you're an after effects user and try to do vs & am, alight motion will be wayyyy easier
Lol I've been editing for a year now, and I use every single app almost. I use ae, am, vs, and cute cut, just not as much. I probably use ae the most, vs second most. but it takes a really long time to learn how to edit, so just stay on one app for at least a month, if you dont understand it, switch.
Things I don't like about Alight Motion: - Always crashes 👁👄👁 - you can't speed or slow down the video - no velocity - hard time exporting it - takes so much time to make some transitions - always lags and crashes when adding a lot of overlays But other than that I love the app so much and it's my bff 💖
I deleted and re install it like many time just to do a edit trend but those keyframes and graphs were so freaking hard for me so I just gave up that time but finally I'm good at am 😭
@@Splatoob but they don’t have content and they could steal people from one channel to another and it could make them get lots of subscribers without videos and it’s just not fair for people who work hard and stay small
@@tobiaserinrogers9080 i've had alight motion both on my iPhone AND android phone they have never lagged (btw i have *a LOT* of pictures and videos on my phone(s) so add that to what i just said) idk must have a good phone-
Im an editor of all three, I started with vs. Tried alight motion.. gave up. I then went to AE which after I learned the basics, I could use AM. but I still like vs and ae more
i used ccp at first, then when i got my iphone i started using vs, tried ae and sucked bc my laptop is slow af, but am seems like a mix of ccp and ae but better since it wouldnt be as slow as ae on an ios device
I have to give my respect to video star editors, I had to leave video star and go to alight motion because video star was too hard for me to figure out-
The way that she Just understood EVERYTHING about the app in Just 1 sec and i use the app for like almost 1 year and didn't understand even the half about it is impressionant
@@AbhinavTiwari1806 there is no best editing software. It depends on what you like better. I’ve tried AE and trying to transfer to it but right now I feel like alight is better FOR ME just because I like it better for myself.
no one: lauren:" 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 " everyone: 👁👄👁 also lauren: dOnt AnSwEr ThAt everyone:😶 (hah love ur vids lauren hope u see my comment)
I've been trying to learn to edit properly(the beginning of hell idk what's what) and this just gave me an idea on how to use the app than any other tutorial lol. Thank you for making this video. Hoping to come back here to learn more about After Effects after I get a grasp on this. which probably will take a long time haha
I'm a newbie to alight motion and was SO proud of my self for making a cube whilst watching a tutorial. And then there's her. Being SUCH a pro without watching any!
Me:editing wit alight motion for a year never knowing what the hell directional blur was for You:never used it before and know everything Glad this vid helped me😂
The fact that you trying this for the first time was a perfect tutorial and I started understanding the transitions way better then other tutorials out there...ugh your mind😍😽✨
hii! i little tip for the masking thingy. you press the plus button like how to add picture but press the vectore drawing at the side. and then you can mask it there. by moving your hand and tapping the middle or press the little plus on the bottom left. after masking it, it will cover the photo. go back and press blending and opacity and find mask and find the one who has the picture inside of the little circle. after that long press the picture (you need to long press it where you can hide the photo, theres like an eye thingy on the side) long press that then after that press the photo and then there will be 3 sections at the top. pick the first one and then it should group. then done!
This app looks brilliant for a phone/iPad app. As someone who uses after effects for work daily, this is awesome. I tried this on my iPad and it feels like the only motion graphics app worth having.
I love the fact that I gave up with editing on am after 2 minutes lmao Am I the only one who thinks after effects is easier than alight motion? No? Okay
Kayla UwU If that’s true then I started 4 days ago and I’m better than you? 😭 Look through the 2 millions effects Oscillate motion blur tiles mirror Swing These are the most important for simple transitioning
It is actually very easy if you’d like I have an extremely simple tutorial on a zoom out transition and zoom in transition basically the main things you need are the graphs if you got good graphs the rest is pretty self explanatory, took me a week to get pretty decent
