I know you all have to sensationalize things, but the host skipped over a mountain of facts about the defendant. He made it sound like the victim ran from the scene, but in fact, he stayed at the scene for 20 minutes and, he was not himself, because he was possibly having a diabetic episode. And he was killed, because she decided she would execute judgment on this poor victim, and the witnesses ALL saw how wrong and evil the defendant was!! And she lied over and over on the stand, based on the words of ALL the witnesses!!
@karieschneider746

She told the 911 Operator that she was NOT going to obey her instructions to stop pursuing the victim. That is not FEAR. That is self-importance. Of course, the man grabbed her wrist and the gun. He knew she was going to shoot him.

I honestly think she did stop to help. I genuinely believe her when she said she was afraid he was going to cause another accident. Unfortunately, she made a huge mistake involving a gun in the situation. She had no business flashing a gun. She’s young and sadly has learned a huge life lesson that will affect her forever. And she’s affected the lives of Mr Herrings family. This whole thing is really tragic, I don’t think she is a bad person. Shes not a criminal, she’s just over zealous and it resulted in death. She way overstepped the boundary of ‘helping’.

@@Diametricallyopposed00when you're 20 years old are you approach a grown 60 something year old man and start yelling get the F out of the car you are a bad person and disrespectful to her elders now she's a murderer I believe she is used to hearing the stories from her grandparents of how they could get away with things like that back in the good old days back in the nineties but unfortunately sometimes you have to pay the price these days she probably believes that a black man has no rights that are white person is bound to respect not even the right to life

@@Diametricallyopposed00I do think she is a bad person . The Corrections Officer stated that the victim seem like he was in diabetic shock. Since that seemed to be true he would be risking death if he waited any longer for the police. He needed sugar or high carb food immediately. I had a 32 years old dance instructor who died from low blood sugar. He needed to leave. She was going to kill him by preventing him from obtaining sugar/carbs or shooting him.

@@Diametricallyopposed00 Oh she is a bad person because a good person doesnt cuss on elderly strangers who were involved in an accident and are shocked and confused.A good person doesnt shoot unarmed people who pose absolutely no danger to them .She thought she was smart but we all know she is dumb as rocks and she is a proven liar with crocodile tears

@@vrjanice2 ok, I respect your point of view, just like everything else, it’s hard to judge the situation through the media without first hand experience of viewing the event. I really feel for both families, they’ve lost their daughter to prison, and Mr Herring lost his life. I thought the corrections officer suspected he was drunk, I didn’t hear the low blood sugar story. I’m unsure which one to believe. Did his tox screen show alcohol? I do think she thought he might cause another accident, and her actions were initially borne of trying to help.
