Hi, sure, I've filmed a what I eat in a day at school video. It will be up tonight. :) Jess should be coming to visit me during her vacation so we'll def do a Q and A and a chat about teaching Korea vs China. Life update is def due now that my school is starting to ask about my future plans :) will do that too!

You can say that again! MaCHINA!!!!! a word I use on the daily LOL! That is a great way to put it, The job here comes with being an ambassador & content creator, first. Teaching after - at least with my school... The annoying part about the work I put into the WeChat messages and videos is that the kids look at me as if it's the first time they are seeing the content I'm teaching. That time we send it to them the week before. you would think this would improve their retention but.... it just seems like it's falling on deaf ears!

Bona! I’ve been saying MaChina for years now 😅😅😅 I can’t hle!!! I know how they use teachers as ambassadors & content creators , they will do anything to get the school out there. These school’s are just businesses really. It’s also so much work too 😩 you know this, because you have your own RU-vid content to work on too. Would be so much fun if they were giving you 2 classes a day & asking you to make content for the rest of the day 😅 - minus the WeChat work you also do. I would be frustrated if I were putting in so much work only for parents to sit back & not get their kids to learn the work. I also think some Chinese schools are a bit extra though, kids in Kindie are still so tiny shem, all they wanna do is play mos, maybe the curriculum is a bit too hard for some. P.S - I’m also so impressed you’ve planned till the end of the semester hey 👏🏾 you’re clearly on top of your game! Keep up the good work ❤️ @@AnnahPokubye

Hi :) Thank you for watching! Let me first ask you this: 1. What lead to / why leave your job? 2. Do you / have you experienced some form of racism at home, even if its 1 or 2 instances? 3. Have you gone onto job sites and contacted recruiters to see what the current salary packages are ? 4.Looking at those salaries that you are seeing on offer, is it the same as your current job, more or less? On the point of being scared and what is it really like - Id say make sure when you get here your first priority is to save for your trip back home. if at any moment you want to leave this country you can, you are not forced to stay or complete a contract. Next, i would say, with all the Stories you have heard there are also some good ones. Everyone has different experiences and so shall you. Never not do something because of someone else's opinion or experience of it as the two of you are two different people in different environments. No school is the same back home, same thing here :)

@@ongezwasisilana-lc8co You are a teacher already! Perfect! look at your current salary then look at posts you see for China and compare your SA job package to the teaching package here in China. To help you decide. as for the other bits about racism, and the stories you hear, just remember you can always pack your bags and return to SA. But there's a possibility that you may just love it here, but you won't know this without taking a leap of faith. Good Luck!! ❤❤

If I’m editing a RU-vid video and want a certain font/effect/image or whatever from canva as it’s not on the app I use on my laptop (iMovie). then I’ll edit that specific clip on canva with what I want from canva then transfer to my iMovie to then add it to the rest of my video. I find that canva isn’t so great to use for long videos such as a RU-vid video.
