I used a needle to flavor meat to suck up my old fluid and added chf11s fluid to the resovoir took me about an hour and my ABC visit workshop light went away and ABC suspension works amazing, IF YOU OVER FILL or under fill you will get a red ABC drive carefully light, dont over fill, I have a cl600 02

Great tool, but did you miss out a VITAL step in the procedure. Should you not suck out all the ABC fluid in the reservoir, as soon as you take out the filter?My understanding is, due to the ludicrously stupidly designed, new bottom return feed reservoir; as you open the cap and start to withdraw the filter, all the previously filtered (and highly concentrated) crap, will drain into the reservoir and mix with your filtered clean oil! If you fail to suck it out, and just plug in your tool, all that crap (filtered since the car was new) will be sucked into the pump and flushed through all your ABC components. :( :( I think I am right .... ergo, in the UK Mercedes has actually withdrawn selling the filter on its own. You now have to buy the entire new reservoir, which of course comes with the filter inside. I am pretty sure they did this to discourage any one from buying a filter and opening that cap! Initially they explained the ABC system was sealed for life LOL! I think your tool is an essential idea, but you surely need to suck out all the fluid in the reservoir that gets contaminated by the dirtly filered sludge as soon as you pull out the filter. Once you have done that then ypur tool will do a fabulous job. Personallly I am going to remove the filter as fast as possible, to reduce the amount of dirty oil dripping back into the reservoir, and suck it all out, and then even pour in about 0.25 liters of fresh oil into the reservoir, and finally suck that out as well, to sort of rinse the inside of the reservoir.Then when I plug your tool in, I can fill the reservoir 'pouring around" your tool, so only clean oil can be sent tomthe pump, and of course all the dirty stuff will come up your tube and into the waste bucket. I would be interested in your comment. Is my logic right? If you think I am wrong please tell me where my logic is flawed? I.e. In your video I could see dirty oil dripping off the filter into the reservoir as you withdrew it. BTW when I raised this with MB UK Technical they initially got really shirty, and then virtually admitted I was right.Your tool is still essential, unless of course somebody wants to waste 2 new filters and take off the reservoir two times. (Or if you beleive MB UK, buy two whole reservoirs at £230 each and take them off 2 times.. BTW your advertised filters are the correct ones. The reservoir on the US sites and on the UK have the same part number, but in the UK they have even removed the filter from the parts diagram! I am sure they did this, just to ensure people had to start the flush process with a squeaky clean reservoir. By that I mean, if you are going to take that reservoir off ... effectively just to get a new filter; then it will at least ensure the flush procedure starts with a clean reservoir. Well done on overcoming such a huge engineering design gaff by Mercedes. This new bottom return feed reservoir must have been designed by the same cretin, who designed the A Class ; where you have to lower the engine to change the starter motor! At a price of £1,400 .... Er they could have had an inspection plate, sealed with a gasket in the passenger footwell! ,

Any time an accumulator ball breaks, a volume of nitrogen gas and fragments of rubber are introduced into the system, thus requiring a complete flush & bleed. Don't replace spheres and not perform this procedure.

Where can I get the program from a 2005 SL500 to perform the rodeo? (star diagnostic system )

I have a question about the Pentosin 11S CHF recommend by MB for the ABC system for my 2005 SL500. I've been using AMSOIL synthetics for decades in all my vehicles over the years. Best lubricants on the market IMO, however expensive. They do make hydraulic fluid for various applications. Nowhere have I ever seen MB list any AMSOIL fluids of any kind as compatible...at least for their ABC system. I assume they want you to use what they recommend. There's no warranty on my SL. What would you (or anyone) have to say in regard to using AMSOIL hydraulic fluid in the SL ABC system?

I just had this job done on my 2007 CL550 with my indie shop at a cost of about $650 including parts ABC Pulsation Damper/Accumulator $350.00 & filter $15.00 plus labor. I'm not sure if he did it this way since I wasn't at the shop when the work was done. I'm happy the whiny/humming sound is gone while driving.

@@a.g.pennypacker3464 At least. You really don't want to "TRUST" anyone when it comes to the ABC suspension system. The dealership will replace the entire system meanwhile it may be just a sensor. There's $9000 worth of parts that make up the entirety of the ABC system.

@@frankburdodrums8984 I called the dealer just for fun and they said the system was sealed and the fluid did not need to ever be changed. I just changed the fluid and it was really dark. FYI, on an SL the AGA tool does not fit. If anyone wants to buy one that has never been used at a discount let me know.

@@a.g.pennypacker3464 Every dealership says something different. If you have a mechanic you can trust he would suggest keeping the fluid at the correct level and flushing it and putting new fluid in ever 40k.

If you're a shop, you're most likely going to want to use STAR diagnostic. If you're a DIY, you're going to have to manually activate the ABC system by pressing the button inside the vehicle.

AGA Tools I’m talking about the flushing part , you out the car in rodeo to get the fluid pumped out since we don’t have the star do we need to raise and lower the car via the ABC button to get the fluid pumping or just by simply running the engine the fluid will pump out thanks
@AGATools

@@gusf8451 Please give me a call so I can explain it to better understand. My direct line is 760-738-4084. You flush the system by using our tool. If you do not have the Star system, you will need to push the ABC button inside the vehicle as mentioned in the video. This process is much, much, much longer than using the Star, but not many people can spend thousands of dollars for the Star system.
