@@horsebones727 i wasn't sure when it had been, so I did search it and RU-vid said a year. I think it *was* a revisit of the deck with extra clone effects for even more Rhinos, i wasn't really around when the original came out 😅
@@LaughingDepressed teferi was legal back then and shut down combos. Now he’s banned but my beloved simian spirit guide is also banned. No more turn 1 collected conjuring:(. Gemstone cavern is still legal and rituals tho ;)
@@mtg_synergizer6022 You didn't post a decklist, but looking at the video, the decks don't look very similar in the slightest. They aren't even in the same colors (Temur vs Grixis).
11:08 missed lethal, flame slash the goyf and attack with trampling rhino for lethal (didn't matter in the match, but could've if opponent top decked well)
@@p0ke47O then opp just plays it before dmg or before flameslash resolves, if opp draws push for amass token then the game plays from there, top deck wars again when lethal was on board

I may be wrong, but I think in that second game where the opponent was at 1 life and you had a rhino w/trample. If you had flame-slashed the tarmagoyf, marking 4 damage on a 6 toughness creature, could you not have "trampled" over 2 excess damage from the 4/4 rhino and one earlier?
I built a similar deck to this, It was very fun but definitely not great. savor the moment is also a very good hit, and narset is just a very good card. i did think about a land destruction version, but i went with 5 color nonsense. (teferi's plus is actually quite good in this deck) Also, at 25:01, you were outplayed. that was pure skill from your opponent.
(Typed at 0:00) Before even watching I am wondering if having something like Leyline of Anticipation (or Vedalken Orrey) or some of those cards that make sorcery spells able to be cast with flash would help Collected Conjuring. I feel if it were instant speed I think it would be remarkably better probably even pretty good.
Seth totally should have fine jeskai for T3feri instead of grixis for just dreadbore and brutality. White gives great sorcery removal like oust while also giving instant speed with t3f AND protecting from the counter spells he admits he was weak to. T3f isn’t fun though which is probably why he didn’t include it
@@Cornelius135 I agree. (Somehow that card didn't come to mind to be mentioned by me). I think Seth's deck was pretty good though. Again on the point of 3 mana Teferi, I think the deck probably could have been built more resilient to control decks (it was playing red, red has stuff against control). The deck just felt like a bit of a sitting duck to control. Almost the best it had was forcing Ancestral Visions to get countered inefficiently (or not and going up cards) and being open to cast something after that.
Seth, that Collected Conjuring List for Modern looks fun, can't wait to watch it Collected Conjuring is such an underrated Card In my Experience it's also a great Card if you focus mainly on Land Destruction, whether Red/Green Land Destruction or Red/Black Land Destruction This includes 4x Maindeck Trinisphere Of course the Trinisphere Version has 16x Land Destruction Spells instead of the Suspend Sorceries Both work pretty well in Modern Leagues, at least since the recent Bans. Hope to see Collected Conjuring get more Attention and therefor more Tinkering and Optimisations Prost and Cheers from the Snow-Covered Bavarian Alps
Overall I think this was a fun deck. I particularly like the main-deck ponza plan, and the As Foretold secondary plan is smart. The deck does have it's oddities and awkward moments. One of the main ones that stood out to me as I'm playing it is that, as you're playing everything at sorcery speed, you do quite a bit of damage to yourself with your own manabase. You are rarely fetching for a tapped shockland except in games you are already ahead in, and those chunks of 2 life can really add up against aggressive decks. I'd like to see a Jeskai version with maybe some Time reinforcements and T3feri in there to interact nicely with your Sorcery-heavy deck.

Cast a 4 drop, search up an Enchantment Creature, sac to Enig incantation for ANOTHER 4 drop... Also w Yorian if a 4 drop out plus Search u can free cast it...
I'm hoping that there will be a good MDFC for Collected Conjuring in Strixhaven so you can get to the necessary Sorcery count with greater ease. Valakut Awakening would be pretty decent if it wasn't an instant...
Given the need to be on the play, this deck seems prime to use Gemstone Caverns! I definitely think youre right about blending CoCon with As Foretold and the suspend spells
I feel like you could run quicken, perhaps in the place of sleight of hand. It would fit with the against the odds theme of sorcerytribal but would fix your complaint around 28:00 somewhat
"It'd be great if it were an Instant" Me: Trying to find 4 slots to cut for Leyline of Anticipation. I also think some amount of the sideboard removal should be in the maindeck. Land-D is sweet, but some of these games seemed like even having Pyroclasm in hand would've swung things in our favor.

EDIT: yeah you’re literally grixis for dreadbore and brutality in the side... I feel like white splash for t3f would be stronger. I know we hate t3f here but he’s just so strong

Was just talking about how useless this card was in Modern and how I’d never seen it played before because they for whatever reason put it on Arena. Can’t wait to see you somehow do something with it.
Random idea, what if Wizards makes a Simic or Selesnya Sorcery called Collected Confluence or Collected Conjecture for the effect of reveal the top six cards of your library to put up to two enchantment cards with converted mana cost 3 or less onto the battlefield, put the rest of the revealed cards on the bottom of your library in any order. Bogles would take advantage of that card, correct?
I presume that Collected Conjuring is a Sorcery because Sorceries tend to have more powerful effects than Instants do at the same cost. For example, Murder (spot removal) vs Bontu's Last Reckoning (board wipe). Being able to cast two Sorceries at Instant speed for four mana just might be too powerful. The comparison to creatures is generally true, but a lot of good playable creatures also have Flash, allowing them to be played as Instants as well, making it less of an issue. Oh yeah, and some of the best instants are Counterspells. Hard to play those in the same deck.
I wonder if it would be worth it to try to find a spot for some amount of Leyline of Anticipation so you have a chance to play your sorceries at instant speed.
I’m pretty sure the reason collected conjuring isn’t a instant is it would turn every sorcery into a potential instant. That would be sooooo good prolly to good. Land destruction draw three on their end step. Make a 12/12 blow up a planes walker in response to a discard spell. It would be to hard to interact with In my opinion. A more balanced way to approach it would be can’t be countered. I guess? It’s a wired card. It isn’t strong enough as is any changes I can think of makes it almost to good.
Since ALL of the deck is sorceries, would fires of invention be good as an As Foretold replacement? it has basically the same utility with basically no downside
Why not playing jeskai with teferi time raveler to use sorceries in instant speed? I reckon Teferi is to answer to Collected Conjuring worst drawback. Teferi on turn 3; on turn 4 up tick teferi and hold mana for an instant speed (and uncounterable) collected conjuring!
