When I saw the knights and his archery ranges I expected him to at least switch into crossbows. It wouldn't have been ideal with Viper maintaining longbow mass, but there was a window I think, with their fire rate bonus at home that xbows and longbows could have held off the knights for long enough to keep ACCM in the game long enough to go imp, get out mangos, something. But you clearly see him producing only longbows.

I'm fairly new to AoE (played AoE1 way back as a kid, never competitive) and I absolutely love your insightful commentary in these videos, your soothing voice is easy to listen to too. Thanks so much for your frequent content and I hope you'll do more explanatory videos (similar to the last video you uploaded) too. I mean, do whatever you want, I'm sure it will be a great way for people to learn more about how to play this awesome game. P.s. How do you get recorded games to cast? I played a really fun match against a Mongols player (as the French). He kinda stalled my whole eco at one point, and I still managed to run them away and win with the help of ARBALETRIÉÉÉe And I'd like to download and save that gameplay
