Maybe its intentional, the ships are just there to represent trade routes, the real magic is the economic code behind the scenes, this could be either a overshight or deliberate decision, since ships traveling at absurd speeds across the screen would be both distracting and a bit silly.
In AoH2 the revolters can also just break away and form a country but they seem to require several turns with no fighting battles to do that which makes it rare for them to win against player.

It looks like the war tactic used isn't the siege mechanics we saw, instead it's like AoCII, conquering tile by tile. I like that, make sense to have that updated with the era.
It seems that conquering province by province will only be valid for the rebels, almost at the end of the video when he goes to wage a rebellion in the middle of Portugal, he conquers 1 province and the others around him are also conquered.
it'd be good if you can make a rebel faction that is sympathetic to your ideology as well, imagine funding a monarchist loyalist rebels inside a republic and if they succesfully take over they'd be your allies or they'd have good relations with you, but i think its best in my opinion. Would be cool actually!
Also, rebels could revolt but if the land they revolted from belongued to another country, instead of turning into another country, the land would be returned to the original country, or they would be a vassal of that country or, after some time, willingly join become vassal etc...
There should be some feature that incentivizes the ai to form any of their formable nations, cause it’s kind of sad just seeing England sit there as England for an entire game
Not simplicity. But the fact that it is easy to learn and hard to master. Lukasz should continue that Aoh2 was both easy to learn and easy to master. He should definitely add more features and make the game a bit more difficult
I really hope that revolts will happen more often and for more reasons. That being said, wow I like how much stronger they are, they actually may be a challange
I think it would be more realistic if the rebels had a rebel side of the nation that when they capture a province, that said province becomes part of their rebel side of the nation instead of just being an army that takes control of provinces that are not officially theirs until they win the war.
Idea: after losing all provinces you can play as a rebellion. Also add the possibility of starting a rebellion wherever you have cored provinces. The created rebellion would join your country for example when playing as Hungary you could trigger an uprising of the Hungarian minority in Romania or playing as Greece, an uprising of Greeks in Turkey.
It would be good for the rebels to have a leader, that is, like a civil war that there are 2 factions with their respective leaders and that when the leader who wins is over, he can be the one who occupies the position and there is instability for a period
I think that in the game, when you change a government, the leader should also change, and that it should include those exact historical events every year.

I've been waiting a really long time to see this feature implemanted in such a fashion. Good job! I would also like to draw the attention to the map of Morocco. Apart from how the provinces need some refinement for aesthetic and realism purposes, Morocco at that time was divided into 2 entities (Fez and Marrakesh). Oujda and Sus were not independent and thus shall be included into the kingdoms of Fez and Marrakesh.

itd be nice if instead of the rebels turning into the united arab emirates or any other regional country, theyd turn into an actual country from the time of the scenario, or just create a name based on different informations about that rebel nation (warrior names, city names, goals, myths, etc...)
how the puppet mechanic works? In aoc2 the puppets inevitably force you to recognize its independence after some turns, even with relations up and with the tribute taxes on 0%

Just throwing this out there,a cool little DLC for this game when it drops would be an alien invasion,a dlc that can be enabled when making a scenario,this alien invasion can happen randomly or can be expected,Middle Ages or modern era and the only purpose of the DLC is to add more to the game after either taking over the world or the game gets boring,the aliens don’t have to come in like 80+ variants they can just be the little green men n that’s it,in this DLC you can try to decipher their language,get threats from from them during the game like threats that they are coming,try to negotiate a peace deal with them or try your luck and kick them off earth the DLC is meant to just take place on earth so no space battles or space exploration it’s just a fun DLC I don’t know if it fits the game but whatever, I’ll let Lukas decide

Rebels are the one thing I love about these type of games. They balance the game and stop large nations from getting more large. Lukasz I would highly suggest you make features that stop large nations and either stop them from expanding or even split, pop new nations etc. Rebels are very effective at this if you make it right. I would say that you make rebels vary a lot in size, like you can have a 5k rebel or a 100k rebel depending on which rebels you get(I hope you add rebel types) and unlike other games make the rebels as strong as the tech of the country(without modifiers of the country). I would also suggest, if the national unrest is high and your king dies, that you could get a civil war and for democracies it’s after a election. You could give in the peace treaty to annex the entire nation with 1 point or so to unify the nation. This would stop blobs. Because the nation gets very weak after a civil war. I just want you to highly focus on rebels and features that weaken nations for example if you have other large culture groups than your main you have to satisfy them with treats otherwise you get large culture rebellion(independence rebels) which are stronger than normal independence rebels. I have to say that blobbing makes for me the game not fun anymore, because you only get large nations at the end of the game. I also suggest another feature, random events, which have small or huge modifiers.

I would love to play RIGHT NOW, but seeing errors like when you increase the speed of the game the ships continue traveling at the same speed, I understand that the game needs a couple of things to polish. when a revolt happens and there are no previous countries or anything there, like how in aoh2 it would be Portugal or communist Portugal. maybe it could randomly generate a country based on the area, language, religion, and culture. and if the revolt is another party like communism, then just give it a generated name if the original country doesn't have a name for that government. oh and btw the randomly generated country could be saved to your created countries if you wanted it. just an idea, much love for this game
It would be cool to have states so you can control other countries as states to your unions, for example, Scotland will still be part of the UK but will have its own scottish population without creating instability, it would also be cool to have a slight bit more control over you vassels for example if you own a vassal you should be able to: stop them from starting wars limit how many troops they can have and maybe eve be able to set how much a vassal can invest in population and economic growth it would also be cool if you could build buildings in vassals which will give you better relations with your vassals
vassals cannot start wars with other nations in Aoh3. Maybe they can, depending on the vassal's level of autonomy, but I don't remember If the vassal's autonomy level will be or is in Aoh3. Also, apparently you can get resources, money and more from your vassals. (Idk If the autonomy level is going to affect this too.)

@@ukaszJakowski Please add Olivença to Portugal, it's bscly half of the current Badajoz province and was Portuguese from the reconquista to the war of the oranges
