The upgrade looks fantastic! I like the care that's been put into the heroes the myth units when zoomed in. As a player who really enjoyed the campaigns and the cutscenes with zoomed-in units, this makes replaying the campaign look better and feel more immersive. The updated art for the god powers looks great. The art team has really done some great work here. Hopefully, the game will be well-tested, well-optimized, and maybe fix a bug or two. I'm sure a rebalance is on the menu, and it's needed. We'll see how that shakes out closer to release I have a feeling. Either way, I'm excited to see the reboot

It's called a spin-off of Age of Empires actually. Some mechanics are the same, the basic concepts are the same, but yeah, it includes gods, myth units, god powers, settlement mechanics, three different cultures (for now).

No, AoE 2 is a symetric RTS, AoM is an assymetric RTS with some AoE mechanics. The factions have completely different mechanics.

I love the game I swear. I even admire the retold version but could they have made it graphically better as well. AOE II looked so good after reworks. AOE III let me down so bad and now this 😶
