I love how the Kir'ko have blue blood! Few people know that arthropods have blue blood because it's copper-based and turns blue when oxygenated! Ofcourse insect blood is actually colorless since they don't have a pigment due to the heavy use of tracheae!
@@medieeevil3697 Insects lack any blood pigments so their blood is colorless but when you squish them you can see green or yellow liquid coming out, that's actually the stomach content and not their blood's color! Then again the Bugs from Starship Troopers do have a fully finctional circulatory system so I'm guessing they do have some blood pigment for oxygen transporation.
With each new faction spot light, I always think, this team is going to be unbeatable, until I see the next faction. So right now, Syndicate are going to be the unbeatable ones.
I love them. If they won't be on the campaign as first, I will definitevly play them as first in multiplayer- either them or Dvar but I love Psionic powers and "being evil" - indentured: the mind slaves that are primary force and can be ressurected by "slave master" called Subjucator, cool! All I want from nasty and ruthless faction. It is a pity that they show little world map abilities of Syndicate in this video.
@@thegyroneer32 But you can start only the chosen races in order to later "unlock" the "1st mission" of particular races. The first races coinfirmed to choose in campaign are Kirko and Vanmguard + either Dvar or Amazons(peopel say Dvar but in story trailer there amazons, so i am not sure). When you finish e.g. 4 mission of Vanguard then you can play another race, just as it has been in other Age of Wonders game series until now.
kinda this faction inspired from Red Alert 2: "PsiCorps/Yuri" and also there's bit creation from mods called RA3 Paradox had their unique faction sci-fi style called "Electrical Protectorate"
Well, there are 6 major factions, in which 3 or 5(if you consider Dvar and Assambley as them) are human. Others are minor factions. Only Kir'ko are not human

В результате среди гуманоидных рас(пускай и довольно разнообразных) появились космические энты с несколько нестандартным дизайном и хтонические тени, подчиняющие всех. Что характерно, обе расы - пацифисты. Возможно, что-то подобное стоило бы сделать и Парадоксам?
I like how most of the faction looks, yet I feel that the psionic tank brings it down a lot. It feels a bit anticlimatic with that normal looking barrel and psionic damage channel, I feel it would be much more presentable if it were tweaked to Arc dmg(with a barrel similar in style to an Arc Rifle).
@@thegyroneer32 Maybe. Yet, that t3 fat guy unit totally seems like Reanimator. Necromancer might not have had mind control, but turning controlled units into "indentured" unit totally seems like someething akin to ghoul curse and cadavers.
@@Duchess_Van_Hoof I think BE and later Civ6 kinda exposed the current development team. Civ5 was launched broken and with pitiful content, but with time firaxis was able to save face after all the patches and mini expansions. Civ6 the same thing, but the public was not convinced after the updates.
Did they sacrificed mind controlled slaves to summon an eldritch nightmare creature? Yeah, this might be my main faction. I can also relate to a fat dude going around all over the place.
Honestly feels like graphically a step back from AOW3. Units look less detailed and more clunky? Same with their animations. Although I loved AOW3, I still need some convincing for a Planetfall purchase. I sincerely hope the gameplay is top notch, but based on the trailers the game feel bland/stale atm. Yes I know these are merely trailers, but show me something that makes more of a positive lasting impression.
