AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D 4x15 is a MARVEL MASTERPIECE | Agents Of SHIELD 4x15 REACTION!! 

I hope we will one day go back to 22 episodes with a really good long running series from Marvel, but I just don't see it happening on this level with character I care about as much as this crew

If marvel paid attention to this show there’s a 50/50 shot they would have ruined it.

@@LikeomgitznichGuys, let’s not rewrite history just to suit our current feeling. Marvel DID pay attention to the show. For many seasons the writers were given enough inside info to do feature film tie-ins, even seeding MCU concepts into the minds of the audience to prepare for the directions of the films. They did promos and invited cast to premieres. The division only came at the top level where Ike Perlmutter and Kevin Feige were fighting, and co-creator Joss Whedon was divorcing from Marvel. And yet the show ran its course the way it did not because “Marvel didn’t pay attention” but because the showrunners fought to tell good stories despite a declining budget and ABC’s shenanigans. So, instead of trying to make the show’s history fit into the “Disney/Marvel bad-bad” narrative, give credit where it is actually due: Jed Whedon Maurissa Tanchareon Jeffrey Bell To do otherwise is to disrespect the work, energy, and talent they poured into Agents of SHIELD.

Imagine if they didnt hate the show, i still remember the exuse of "you would need to watch a show to understand marvel if they included characters" yet you still need to do that wth other characters

He just played King Arthur in The Winter King. He definitely found being away in the US for so long challenging

I think he's been in 4-5 movies/shows since this ended. They are shown on Amazon Prime. At least some were a few years ago.

I watched Iain De Caestecker as Gabe in The Control Room after this. The performances in the show are phenomenal (of course) but the show itself is confusing and somewhat poorly written.

Well yeah I know that lmao it just happens so often, must be annoying watching the live haha. But yes lots of shows have to do it, for some reason it’s just more noticeable with shield tho. Also Dollhouse I notice it a ton more

By all accounts, and without really wanting to get into a debate about it, Jed Whedon is genuinely the person Joss Whedon was actually pretending to be. Hence, Jed and Maurissa's "No Assholes" policy on the AoS set. People working on the show were all expected to be kind and courteous to one another.

I genuinely believe within a year, they will make this officially canon. Unless something crazy happens later in this series that just makes it not at all canon but idk so far everything lines up and can make sense

It's a Schrodinger's Canon situation. The Marvel Television shows were made to be canon (Except Helstrom for some baffling reason. That was singled out as non-canon when it was made), that's a fact. Even Post-Perlmutter Feige called AoS the introduction of Ghost Rider to the MCU, so even Post-Perlmutter it was considered canon. But ever since 2019, when Studios officially absorbed Television, they've now been a bit sketchy about it. Until recently, their mentality was "It can be canon or not canon to anyone individually because we'll never reference them but also never contradict them either". That's why Matt Shakman still said the Darkhold in WandaVision "could" be the Darkhold from AoS, because frankly Marvel had no official stance on the Marvel Television shows in either direction. Last year, when Brad Winderbaum got more control of Marvel's new television projects after SI bombed so hard (It's actually a very good thing that SI was so bad, it finally woke Marvel up to their show approach's faults) and they began to rethink their approach, they decided to make the Defenders Saga shows not a "They can be canon or not it doesn't matter" situation, but a "They are absolutely canon and they will be relevant" situation. I don't necessarily see that happening for AoS because AoS' story and character arcs are pretty closed, if the characters ever showed up again it would end up being a soft relaunch even if the show is still canon because it'd be the start of new arcs and new stories. AoS didn't have the same loose threads the Defenders Saga and Agent Carter do. Hell, the same could've been true of Runaways had they not done that stupid, stupid, stupid finale that contradicts universe rules established in both the films AND other shows like AoS. In my eyes, AoS is still canon. They haven't contradicted it (No, "A magic book looks different" is not a contradiction, it's a minor aesthetic change), they haven't explicitly said it's not canon, so to me it still is. But at the end of the day it doesn't really matter, because AoS' narrative had such a complete arc that a reintroduction to the characters would always be the beginning of new arcs and new stories, and what happened before isn't that relevant.

Exactly. Because last episode it detected 4 LMDs and showed a picture of the 4 people in the elevator, but Daisy wasn't an LMD

Agree. As you say, the attraction to Daisy/Chloe & Jemma/Elizabeth is understandable. Two beautiful, intelligent, and talented women playing absolutely fabulous characters is irresistible to a young man! Hell, I’m old and understand that. But I always felt that Ian’s acting in this show (albeit, the only thing I’ve ever seen him do) was amazing and head & shoulders above everyone else. And that’s quite a statement when you consider the phenomenal job everybody else did. This show may always be my favorite!

I definitely remember it, it is in a lot of shows I watch like TWD which I watched on cable for like 8 years straight every Sunday before getting rid of cable. It’s just something about certain transitions in shows that make the commercial breaks more noticeable or less noticeable. Maybe it’s the woosh sound effect or whatever

@@JustGavinBennett Okay, its kinda tricky to explain, but I swear its true, Its from a from like a french Twitch streamer who had a US rapper as a guest, and the stramer made the rapper taste fried chicken, and the guy was like in french with a US accent "C'est quoi ce poulet" and since then it became an expression when something is positive (often somthing that came in clutch)

(Maybe not a streamer and a rapper, but at least a famous french guy and a famous US guy, my memory is a bit blured)

also the fact that fitz was the one who was completely alone in the base, not her, since she was with davis the whole time. and she's actually the one who brought up the possibility of being switched up at the base and fitz just played along. even with the script trying to deceive the audience, the signs were there the whole time

For main people currently living that I can think of 1: Jemma, Fitz, Coulson TIED 2: Daisy 3: Mack 4: Yo-Yo 5: May Lincoln Bobby and Hunter would be in there somewhere if they were still here. But yeah it’s really tough, especially toward the bottom; depends on the arc but sometimes I like May more than Yo-Yo but sometimes I like her Yo-Yo more because powers are awesome. I don’t really know but definitely top 3 are tied
