What's better - aggressive skating or big wheel? Big wheel is super fun, but the feeling you get from hitting a grind perfectly is just something else. If I had to choose, I'd pick aggressive every time. What about you?
RUFFCUT is my vlog series. It's not cinematic, it's not perfect and what I say only makes sense half of the time. I massively enjoy making these because I can take some of the pressure off by default. I hope it's also fun to watch! I post an episode every other day and the first season will include 20 episodes.

Another great video. Your passion for skating is so clear to see. Personally i skate both aggressive and big wheels ( i actually have those GC HD frames) But if i had to choose, aggressive every time!

All wheels fan here. From 56 to 125 mm but core same like you: aggressive never dies 🤙

It’s hard! I love big wheeling, finding spaces that I’m not going to naturally find on aggressive skates and hill bombing... but you’re 100% right. There’s also nothing quite like finally hitting a grind just the right way and being completely locked in. It requires a combination of body control along with the skates themselves that make you feel like you’re part of the gear on your feet. It’s a very holistic experience.

Definitely! I also try to bring as much of my big wheel mindset to my aggressive skating as possible when it comes to finding new spots, skating outside the box etc.

Dope bro! I need to get that Big wheel USF frame. I got the Fr2 80mm and a pair of Razor cults. That frame looks like it comes in handy

Team Aggressive! My favorite feeling is definitely a street ledge. Grinding on a gritty street ledge feels and also sounds so good! Sometimes I get so bored of perfectly smooth skatepark ledges. BUT....power blading is ALSO the shit, especially if it’s that hot summer day cruisin by the beach. You see a ledge BOOM, Makio, then haul ass again lol. They’re both fun, but if I only could live with just one...Aggressive.

Powerblading is super dope but I always end up missing a nice, wide h-block. Aeon 72s and GC Big frames are allright but that's the in-between-zone where it's too small for big wheel and too big for aggressive...

rollife Aggree. Idk why but a frontside on a ledge, riding flat is fucking impossible for me lol. If you’re able to do this dude, make a video on it lol. Cause I do not understand hahaha

I can do them but it's harder to hold the grinds for a long time because once you start leaning forward, you get wheelbite. The other option for me was always to get into a lower stance, so I could lean on the negative plates on top of the ledge but the problem there is that you might lose your h-block contact, at which point it becomes a cess slide. It's just physically not really possible to do frontsides in the same way as you can with a bigger h-block.
