In regards to speed and floating - get some ILQ9 bearings in your Roces 60mm (K2 make some great cheap ones) Flat 60mm and amazing bearings are plenty fast enough.

Powerblading is where it's at. I have the Level 2s they go up to 76mm. My riding has really improved since I started riding big wheels.

Sorry to hear about your bad luck. I’ve been there. I got laid off from an oil and gas job in Jan 2017 and didn’t get rehired until June 2018. With all that time it ended up costing me about $170k in lost wages and savings I spent 10 years accumulating. I felt like a complete failure to my wife and three kids. It was the worst year of my life. You just have to keep your head and keep on trucking. Don’t give up because tomorrow is another day!

what would be the best frames for me to ride 72mm on rotes M12?

sounds like the Oysi frame or the Kizer Element 2 would give you some of the things you're looking for in a frame.

Dude that is a pretty bad run of luck. Hope things get better soon. BTW if those frames are a little too tall, maybe try the Ground Control Megas, they do up to 64mm, so not AS fast as those, but faster than others & should be a bit lower. (Or you can research frame height on the GC Bigs (72mm) too to see if they're different from the Level 3.1s)

Do some yoga for the knees, it will also stretch your feet and ankles. It helps so much! I found some article online about what yoga exercises are good for the knees and I have been doing these: Supported Chair Pose, Supported Bridge Pose, Wide-Angled Seated Forward Bend, Easy Pose, Child's Pose. Check them out if you feel like it. It honestly takes like 10 min to do these and they have helped me a lot with knee pain and stretching the feet/ankles. And I'm in my 30's so if it works for me it might work even better for you. Who knows?

Does anyone know if it's possible to buy these 72 mm wheels and slap them on the some plain old Roces m12? The stock wheels are pretty slow for my taste
