Thank you posting this interview. It's good to see it again, and Agnetha is charming. (Especially her reaction to the Waterloo vid.(in part 2)). Wish I could say the same about the interviewers, posing the same banal questions that she always got.
i’m embarrassed to say that host represented the country I live in... he was awful! Poor Agnetha, 4:00 where she reacted to “you must be the richest woman blah blah” was so reflective of how humble and down to earth she truly is. Gorgeous inside and out, no wonder she became silent, due to creeps like him!
Nearly every interview from the 80's with Agnetha follows this sexist pattern, in Sweden as well. No wonder she became nervous about being interviewed! 80's culture was disgusting at times.
Yeah ok, creepy, anything intelligent to add to the comments? Just fawning over her sex appeal like billions of others already do? How about the fact that she was an amazing singer and super humble despite her success? No, let's not discuss that. Let's discuss her "adorable accent".

Nick Ross was so overcome, it's embarrassing. But I think that for most British men, she was every male fantasy wrapped up in one person. And it must have been an uncomfortable place for her to be, because like most Swedes, she seems very down to earth and very ordinary.
We really have progressed as a society, seeing as every darn interview with Agnetha or Frida or any female singer was centered about their bodies/looks and nobody thought it was even the slightest bit weird. Ugh.
This interview must have been conducted in 1983, 'cause Agnetha's solo album (incl. "The heat is on") was published in 1983. Her hairstyle is also the one from 1983, not 1982. It's not really important, just a side note

This is painful. What bloody ridiculous invasive questions, then a lame ass astrologer faffy about, then their 1st and most embarassing video shown. I would have been squirming in my chair to get out of there. Fame is not for the faint hearted indeed to endure such stupidity and banality.
i always liked agnetha but when she talks about money is not important. True will not denied that. but when you have nothing that is not easy but great ladie i still love abba.
Poor girl,. She couldn't get a good interview even if she tried! Could of asked about her solo album like what songs she wrote, did she play piano etc... 1st question after that awkward AF intro was about ABBA! Infact, they didn't ask her one question about that solo album! The whole thing came off as school boys falling over themselves for a girl.
I always used to say that Selena Scott looked like Princess Diana & nobody ever agreed with me, but I still say it to this day. As for gorgeous Agnetha, that was embarrassing, although very understandable, the guy was totally bewitched by her but it came across as very cringy and unprofessional.
The interviewer is indeed very invasive. He keeps talking about money, he was probably dead broke and daydreaming he'd end up with some rich woman... Poor guy!
This interviewer is so embarrassing to watch. How is that even possible.. This interview is awful, and it is not Agneths’s fault. She is always adorable and sweet. 😍😍 Thus guy is the worst.. 🙄
Because it was live they no doubt had the long intro to give the studio the chance to get ready. They do a similar thing today with the countdown timer before the news
