I've sent a a few cards to them (they all ranged from a 9 to a 10). I like how the tech shows the detailed images (where the flaw is at if any) of the card on the website.
I’ve probably graded 70 cards with them and turnaround times have even beaten 20 days a few times and so far it’s seemed really accurate. Also companies like Beckett are following suit when it comes to graded new tcgs so I think others will follow suit soon enough and on top of that I feel these bigger companies MAY try to buy them out or end up doing the same thing IMO.
I’ve been keeping an eye on it, lately. I’m curious to see where AGS goes in the future. PSA and BGS have so much money, I’m sure they could invest in advancements, if need be… BGS has slowed down in growth. I’ve been seeing CGC slowly catch up.
@@Phantom_TCG definitely! If they were to use this tech it would probably be in a time where they had the pass issue of cards having a one year turnaround time! Huge spike of course is the cause but to have some sort of tech to back them up when they need it may be important to keep times consistent no matter what happens.
I rather wait 2 months for PSA return or 1 month return for CGC than even wait 1 week for AGS 😂😂😅😅 McDonald’s is quicker than In N Out, doesn’t mean it’s a better burger 😅
@@Phantom_TCG the kick starter was stupid, ive been watching them on their app and it looks like they are grading around 200-400 cards a day and none on the weekends.
The gold label ags 9.5 & 10s I think look sick, but not sure why I have seen 9.5 & 10s from them in gold and blue lol. I would send my non expensive cards that I want graded to them (like the history of goku and vegeta cards, they are just so cool), seems like they have fast turn arounds for only $18. But for my expensive cards got to go with BGS or PSA for obvious reasons. I prefer BGS since there slabs are my personal favorite. Also BGS has UV protection too.
Unfortunately, nothing I’ve paid attention to. They still wouldn’t make my top 3… It may just be a feeling, but I feel that I’ve seen less and less AGS slabs out there. Could just be me though.
@@Phantom_TCG the slabs are ok, but mana grading also does ai grades and has a better slab. Plus the ags streamers are incredibly annoying they will constantly tell you they are worth the same, if not more then psa and cgc and they will try to convince you to grade just about anything even regular v cards - if you go on drip and see them streamer dont bother checking it out they hike up the price to bonkers levels wanting 145 for a chilling reign bb is nuts even f they throw in 2 grades
I haven't submitted anything to ags yet just trying to see if it turns out being successful or a failure before i make that jump. I also hate that you will get back to many 9.5's when you know you could get a 10.
Just got my 1st submission back today. I really like their slabs, but I also like PSA, Beckett and CGC slabs. So price was a big factor for me, and I trust AI to give more accurate grades than humans. Also found out they don’t charge extra fees to crack other companies slabs which is cool. I got a Beckett error label that they’re gonna crack for me and I just paid the regular grading fee 🔥
Obviously there is a lot to improve from especially with 1st edition base cards since there are soo many fake of those particular cards are being made, but I don't think that should automatically ruin AGS brand because someone didn't notice it (someone meaning a human) I'm sure every single company including PSA, CGC, Beckett, etc... all have graded fakes! But I still think AI grading is the future, sure it cant tell me weather or not if the card is fake, but it does grade a card as accurate as any human can weather its fake or not. I think, humans should still play a factor with determining if a card is fake or not, then if its real, I believe the card then should be graded by a machine.
@@Phantom_TCG I really like them tbh. The upgrade they just did with 9.5-10 getting a Gold label makes it stand out a bit more then the original blue they have.
@@Phantom_TCG I meant other people that say they hate it, not you haha. It almost stole its design from psa with the silver logo in the bottom middle and placement of everything. I prefer bgs personally
Appreciate your video and straight forward / unbiased opinion! After looking into all the shady stuff this company and people surrounding this company have been doing, it’s a hard pass for me. I agree with pretty much everything you said, except I like the look of the labels haha. I’m not a fan of the influencer & crypto / NFT hype behind all of this. Definitely weird vibes like you said. I want a company ran by collectors, for collectors. Great video ✌️

I had horrible time with AGS. I'm okay with the grades I got. Just the quality control on the labels was so bad. I sent my order back and 3 months later received my return, and still had issues with a few of the labels. I will not recommend this company due I couldn't get my money back they couldn't fix the labels 100% on top of how much it cost for grading.
I hope this company does well because PSA is a joke. I’ve seen way too many cards get graded, cracked then graded again with quite different results. I would assume the AI grading is consistent so to me PSA is pretty much worthless.

@@pokeflexpokemonparents147 PSA is over 30 years old and provides the best ROI on the market. AGS’ KS failed. The team backing it are full of influencers pumping it. Connect the dots bro 😅😂 And, it’s funny you bring up RU-vid, we have nearly the same amount, and you’ve been doing it longer ✌️
Yeah the main point of grading is authentication. People buy slabs because they feel comfortable it is not fake. It seems this company does not even do that so their service is literally worthless. They will just get flooded with fakes knowing they will get slabbed for sure. I would not send them my cards even if they paid me.
