Dude. I spent an entire week, like a dork, laboring futilely to get the ear pad back on -after accidentally pulling it off while half-awake- and you just saved my blood pressure from redlining. Cheers!
Yeah, this video is 3 years old. The installation is easy compared to other kinds of ear pad installations is what I meant. This is the most used attachment system across all headphones. It will be harder if you have not done it before but easier going forward :)
Thank you so much! You described it perfectly. Way easier than I made it be. My earphones were padless for 3 months because I couldn't figure it out. Thanks again man 😁👍
I had about given up but your, "it's easy..."comment had me trying once more. The result was a success - using headset now . The execution was far from "it's easy" but "it's done" Thanks
Man, thank you so much! My left one got torn by the cat (don't ask me how), and I thought that I had to disassemble the whole phones to install the new ear pad. Saved me a metric ton of time.
Thanks a lot Mr. Accesory House !!!! my daughter pulled mine off and was having a really hard time finding out how to get'it back in... seriously thanks!
Big clutch video man. Took a few tries but to anyone who thinks they cant get it just keep trying, be easy on it and you'll be fine. This videos technique works.
Ahh nice 👌. So glad you found the video helpful and thanks for sharing your experience 😊. Subscribe for future videos 📹. I have new stuff coming out all the time 😀
Thanks a lot! I was using with one pad off forthe last 4 months through my runs! I wasmad about it. Gave it a shot to find somone with a solution on youtube and made it to your video. God save you!
Dude actually though thank you so much my Sony ear pad actually fell off and I’ve seen lots of videos on how to put it back on and they never showed anything about that little plastic thing and I could never put it back on so I just gave up and I said I’ll ask for new ones on my birthday but now I can just stay with mine thanks so much
Thanks man !!! I needed to do this for awhile, only being afraid to know how to get new ones on. I seen your video here...ordered new ones (that came ASAP) and took 3 min to put them on...all with your help. Thanks again dude.
Thx mate you save my old Focal Listen. I started to dismantle the double support to find the mechanism to mount earpads, in vain. So simple, I'm ashamed.
i had a hell of a time putting in the right earpad took me about 15 min to put it in just couldnt get it to stay in that slot but eventually got them in look good with red earpads along with the black very nice
I have been trying for DAYS!!!! Thank you for this video! The first time the came out about 2 years ago and that took about 2 weeks for me to get on. Itwas hell. Im glad I found this video this time
Put notch of earpads exactly in the place with the notch of headphones and then stretching the earpads slips it right into the position where it was before. Thanks only your method worked as I saw other videos. Their method didn't work your did thanks a lot as I accidentally removed the earpads from my Mdr-xb950b1
Hi, just to let you know. I would probably state and remove that they are also NOT compatible with the MDR-XB950AP's beacuse in all honestly they aren't directly. They have a completely different design for the ear pads in that they are glued by default to the headphones and don't latch/attach onto anything. Found this when I went to replace mine today, ended up ripping the original ones leaving some residue/leather/cloth behind on the ear pads, and had to re-glue the new ones and put the old plastic ring thing back in place.
I wanted to ask , can I replace my XB650BT earpad with XB950BT earpad ? I mean , I don't know the size of the items . Just wanted to know if it's size is same or different . if it suits , let me know
Thank you for posting this, I tried to pull my earpads out and stopped when, after some resistance, I heard a small tearing sound as well. My headphones say they are "MDR-XB950" and do not specific if they are AP make or not, and I have not yet located the originally packaging (I moved house since I bought the headphones, it may be tricky). So I'm not sure if I should proceed further - my headphones look identical to the ones in the video but I don't want to tear or damage them. The pads need replacing ASAP, so I may have to find another solution.
Wow looks much more practical than buying a whole new set. I have a red MDR-XB950BT and can't find the ear pads on your amazon page. Can you attach a link to them?
Great video!! However, I have a really old pair of mdr-xb950 (the wired ones - remember those? lol). These ones have the sticky back cups that i can't seem to find replacements for. You wouldn't happen to know, would you? Thanks
@@GabrielMunizFerreira I didn't unfortunately, they were just never meant to be replaced. They are still hanging in there but look old and tired, so I just use them for indoor use now.
@@terrry9709 You need to get one part of the skirting in place and make sure you hold it down with your thumb to make sure it stays there. Then work your way around the rest of the pad. Do not worry about getting the cutout in the perfect spot right away you can rotate the pad afterwards into place.
i been searching everywhere in malaysia they cant fix a thing. now i currently use wh xb700 and wh xb900n but i still think Xb950b1 still better! mine xb950b1 its still working but.. the plastic broken both side.. and the leather ear pad is you know its tear.. i will send the picture and videos up to your email. if you can fix it.. i will send it to your address. i really need your help sir please
