I didn´t agree with many casts from the movies. Mostly the students. But most teachers fit perfect.

I agree with you on Ron and Hermione. But I can see a world in which Harry is rather good looking. His mother was just gorgeous, his father was athletic (being a Quidditch Player) and super popular. Usually these people are relatively good looking as well. So "Super Gorgeous" + "Relatively Good Looking" = "Rather Good Looking" 🤣 Plus there were many Girls who fancied Harry. You might say: It was only because he was the "Chosen One" but I don't think girls just fancied him because of that. He must be somewhat attractive. In the end all humans are superficial. The fact that two beautiful women (Lilly and Ginny) fell in love with a Potter-boy (with the same look) must mean something :)

To use another fantasy series as an example, Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia in _Star Wars_ are a good deal less attractive than their parents. That's no slight on Mark Hamill or Carrie Fisher's looks, but Hamill is several inches shorter than Hayden Christensen (who's still too small to be Darth Vader), and Natalie Portman is one of the most beautiful actresses in Hollywood. In the sequel trilogy, I find it even harder to believe that Kylo Ren is Han and Leia's son, because he looks absolutely nothing like them. In the real world, I'm a few inches taller than my father (6'2") and have two brothers who are even taller. They're blond-haired, I'm auburn, and we are all slim and have blue eyes. That would be pretty crazy. I would love to make my own creations without having to pay a bunch of people to do it.

I suppose one day in the future if we can create something exactly the way we imagine it, we'd still find ourselves going back to the product to make adjustments. But it would be interesting to share with others and see their creations. I still think however that a product created by a team of like minded, talented and educated people would still be interesting to see. Like D&D type stuff.

Especially with Hermione. They already race-swapped her in the stage show. I doubt the Weasleys will stay redheads too. Hollywood hates ginger characters for some reason and now always casts them as black.

@sup3414 and?...that she is producer doesn't mean there won't be race swapping, they already did it with the stage show, this day and age is about race swapping and virtue signaling, there is not one decent reboot in ten years, it'll take a other ten years for things to get normal again if it ever happens.

You say, as if all of Pixar's faces don't look like the same generic, plain 'pretty' face without any hint of individuality or soul. Especially the girls. This is not a limitation of MJ, it's not even something from the AI. They all look generically pretty because that is what the person who generated the art *wanted* them to look like. Because it looks good. Arguably, it's not accurate because HP like ASOIAF has a lot of ugly characters...but that's a failing of the person adding the prompts and picking 'generically pretty' looking characters.

Exactly, Hermione is too good looking, she was described as kinda plain and average. The only ones that pass is Ginny, Ron, Lily and Tom... maybe Harry since his father was described as handsome.

Hey! The character might have been portrayed as a bland plank of wood. But you cannot say the actress is unattractive.
