Check out my full Bugera review: • Video Gear: OLP MM1FR with GFS (Guitar Fetish) Crunchy PAT pickups straight into the Bugera 6262, no efx in the loop, no external eq's, straight to my Avatar 2x12. Bedroom Volume.
This song honestly never gets tiring. In my opinion has one of the if not the best opening riffs. Its not iconic. But the opening riff is dam good. Not just the riff but the entire song is great. This will always be my favorite van halen song. It was also the first van halen song I've ever heard.
This is the video that convinced me to buy Crunchy PATS, a Bugera 6262, AND introduced me to this amazing beautiful song and even learned how to play it. That was over 6 years ago and I'm still watching this video again and again. Just a good cover in general dawg gun it.
@@haydenkernstock5967 If you're still looking, a Bugera 6262 amp currently costs $730 on sweetwater. I'm broke as hell so don't have one, but I'm hoping to have one someday
I've been watching this video occasionally for 15 years, and it's always just as amazing! Mtuck plays the song with incredible energy and dynamism-truly outstanding! I bought a Bugera amp back then just because of him, and I haven't regretted it. It's a shame you don't make videos anymore.
I have these pickups and wanted to "upgrade" to Seymour Duncan JB (bridge) and 59 (neck). When I did change them, the sound was awfull (yes, even with 250K pot) IMMEDIATELY went back to GFS, they have KILLER TONE!!!!!! Nice playing and sound by the way
I just got GFS vintage 59 for neck and Crunchy Pat for Bridge. Changing to 50s wiring with 525k CTS pots and k40y-9 pio caps, Black tusq nut and ernie ball super slinky 9s. Hopefully it's good combo for my Les Paul.
I just got my Bugera 6262 and all I can say is wow!! This thing kicks major ass! The lead gain is awesome and the clean is amazing too along with great reverb! I'm truly in heaven. The low end punch is superb.
My favorite cover of this track. Watched a few whilst learning it. Absolutely fricking bossed it. Must have watched this 10 times or more because it sounds sooooo damn good. Awesome work dude.
Awesome man. Congrats on your surgery recovery. I broke my neck in 2001. Destroyed my nerves on the right side of my body. Couldn't play guitar for about 4 yrs but gradually the nerves recovered and I got a little shred back each year. I'm not 100% after 20 years of healing, but it means a lot to be able to play stuff like you're doing here!! Keep rocking brother!!!🎸👑🏁🤘😎👍🙏
This guy is the original reason along with Dingle1 that I bought my Bugera Heads and loet me tell you I wont be switching brands ! Bugera completely kicks ass. I couldnt find your channel man for the longest time till looking at VH covers. It was actually you selling your 6505 because you thought your neighbor could hear your guitar and after the guy was driving away you saw her and said you were sorry for the noise and she was like what noise!! So you bought the 6262 and like me I love Bugeras!
Good god man, awesome! Watching your videos has made me a Bugera believer. Because of you, I'm sersiously close to pulling the trigger on one. Bugera should thank you.
All I can say is thanks. You had me sold on the 6505 then I heard about these and checked them out a little bit but no where anywhere near me sells these things and You have just made up my mind and sold me on this amp. Great sound good playing thanks for the inspiration. Keep the horns high brother \m/
The video that changed everybody's "oppinion" about bugera. Well done to show that the player counts more than everything and not a bad amp! What are you doing these days man?
You sir certainly rock and your performance on this cover is certainly nothing less than AWESOME, let's hope that damn carpal tunnel never comes back. Keep on rocking!!!
the "thats what im talkin about bitches" puts a real fuckin stamp on it at the end thats awesome.. wish eddie wouldve come up with that at the end, he'd be even more badass.. this guy one-upped him!
Nice man, good to see you recovered and are back jammin. Nice tone especially because you don't use any effects. GFS is pretty bad ass i just bought the lil killer rails for my Senior project strat.
I love your videos! You are really good! I also enjoy your amp reviews, they have really helped me to find the amp I needed! let me just say thank you! -Alex Jones
Now this is the way to do a cover! None of the real guitar lead is playing in the background. Excellent!!!! Love how you kind of made it your own with a mean crunch.
