The more Jordan 1 colorways they produce, the more I'll be happy...especially if people stop buying them due to "oversaturation" and it becomes easier for people who actually love the Jordan 1 to just walk into a store and get their size...especially if they're a size 9 (I'm a size 9, and this size sells out super quick, its frustrating)

I wanna see Jordan Brand use the OG shape for the Jordan 1 lows again.

Lacing AJ 1's is one of the many joys of owning them. Older sneakerheads will remember lacing up new kicks before wearing them out of the store. We never let the salespeople do it because they would lace them backwards like people are wearing the now. We called it freaking the laces.

Lavender laces have potential but you have to be to be really "saucey" or ,"swaggy" to pull off

If the OG highs get the mid treatment, I would be fine with that, as a normie who wants a pair of Jordan 1s but isn't a collector.

Love purple, and it has the Chicago color blocking. Glad I was about to get these on SNKRS. Those alternate laces are kinda weird. Gonna take your suggestion and get some white laces with these. I got the same thought as the Mrs. about all the Jordan releases in purple, because of Kobe (except for the Jordan 1 release). They announced a lot of purple wet silhouettes coming the holiday season 2020. I am looking forward to these color ways.

I live in San Diego and back in the day the Nike Airforce 1 would come with the purple swoosh and be on clearance at Nordstrom's Rack, I figured they were Lakers colors being close to LA. Just a share for the color purple.

You're actually both right about the color of the air max 90s. There is a royal blue colorway that came out that has a but of purple tone to it. But there is also a release called hyper grape. And those are definitely purple. I've seen them in person and they are very very purple. Nothing about them is remotely blue. Its purple

I like this model. I had the game royals. I like the colorway. But the toe box was crap on my pair so I had to sell them. Beautiful shoe must cop. We had LA to Chicagos court purples allstar 1s so they have been doing a lot of purple.

I think Chicagos, Breds, and Black Toes should always be available. Tbh I wish they kept retroing OG colors instead of throwing random colors on them

I know they put these in production early last year but Kobe was going to be in the news a lot in 2020 regardless of the tragedy that has happened because he was going to get voted into the hall of fame on April 4th of this year anyways. That plus LeBron passing him on some all time lists meant that we would be seeing a lot of Kobe in the news right now anyways. The shoe was probably still made with his legacy in mind

They’ve been doing that leather patch on the tongue since at least 2018, I just double checked and it’s on my hyper royal/sail hi OG’s produced in March of 18 according to the size tag (I bought em at an outlet much later)

Anyone else thinks Jordan messed up the laces of the Turbo Green 1s and these here? The dyed laces from the Court Purple go wayyyyy better with the look of the Turbo Green 1s. And the Turbo Greens had some Court Purple laces with them that fit perfectly fine with the - surprise! - Court Purple 1s. Just tried it. Perfect match. Love it! Both ways...

These are fresh but, I’m good. I prefer the court purple that dropped last year. The lavender alternate laces looks like grape flavored bubble tape. No? 😂🤷🏻‍♂️ Pumpkin spice latte is 🤢 Chai vanilla all day. 🙂
