I flew several times from LAX-RAR on these ANZ 767s, it was always a very nice, mellow flight with solid, professional, friendly service. As far as 10 hour overnight flights go, this was a pleasant experience. And their meals were better than I expected, not bad for airline food at all.
Thanks for the upload!!!! Enjoyed Air New Zealand from Los Angeles to Auckland via the 747 and return from Auckland to Nadi, Fiji, Rarotonga, Cook Islands onward to Tahiti back to Los Angeles via the 767. Island hopped across the south Pacific via the 767. Enjoyed my layover stay in Rarotonga. Have my Cook Island drivers license. That was one of my best globetrekking.
5:59 it is nice to see zk okp in the hobbit livery. ZK OKP was actually my flight to Auckland in July 2016, 2017, and 2018. 2016 Okp as the hobbit livery, 2017 and 2018 Okp as the silver fern livery. I’m glad you were able to catch that before it got repainted. Good video.
Qantas 1986... Great Video! Iappreciate it because you filmed the flight, not the wine list in First Class! It was nice to experience a ride on the 767 from the view that I would get if I were going! It was refreshing, clean, and fun to experience! Got a little confused with the music on the FF, but I like that idea! I just subscribed! Looking forward to it!
I love the Cook Islands. have not been back since 2003. the 767 did not have winglets then. I did six trips from 1997 to 2003 only missing 2002. usually stay at Raro Sunset. But have been to Edgewater and Club Raro. Atiu. And Aitutaki. nice video and memories it brings back. kia manuia. Are ra.
Great video and lucky you. The last time I flew Air NZ the seating arrangement was "herringbone" ----Grrrr! Otherwise, it was a good flight. Nice friendly, efficient, professional cabin crew. Good food and wines. But that herringbone seating ------ no way.
Pardon my mistake. When I saw the seating I thought it was 2-2-2 and you were in Biz Class. Th breakfast served would have passed for a Biz class meal on some airlines.
good job. but you shouldnt sit the camera with the window, it creates vibrations. otherwise great job. i have my own vids too and 12 more i havent uploaded
I was one of the "Solar Eclipse Chasers" who visited Mangaia back in July 2010. Enjoyed my visit and tour of the Island. Saw the War Memorial next to the soccer field, Babes Bar, cave tour, the harbor, and went to church service. Stayed at the Mangaia Inn, good food and hospitality. Took nice walks and enjoyed the views of the island and ocean.
