Ikr? I bought a slingshot from this guy and even after half a year i have trouble hitting relatively large targets at 8-15 meters. Targets of the size of an A5 piece a paper on 8 meters or A4 on 15 meters. And i cant even handle 2 bands a side, cant reach the max potential with 2. Doing 10 shots with a single layer is already taking a noticeable toll on me...

PaganShredhead I did some digging. LET ME SHOW YOU WHAT I CAME UP WITH HA HA HA. Couldn't resist haha. Anyway it seems that Jörg has the strongest handheld slingshot with 135 joules of power. He shot a 1 inch steel ball with 206 fps. The only Guinness world record I could find was the most cans shot from 10 metres within a minute. Was a bit disappointing to be honest.
Isnt there a problem with your story? Joerg is way too huge to be david. Because Nobody.on earth would be big enough to be his goliath. The biggest strongest man on earth is Halfthor Bjornssen, at 420lbs. Joerg is 280. That's the difference between me and my little sister not tbe difference between david and goliath lmfao
@RANDY LEWIS L. COUNTRYMAN What are you confused by. Maybe I can explain in more simple terms. David was very small and goliath was very big. Therefore david beating goliath in a fight was very noteworthy. Joerg is very big. So big nobody on earth makes him look very small. That's about the jist of it.
This thing costs almost 600 USD. Insane price tag for something that cant even penetrate an aluminium beverage can. Still, it's a nice looking gun but I would honestly be slightly dissapointed :P
Price doesn't necessarily equal power. You can make a lethal purpose hunting weapon like a crossbow or a primitive gun for under 30$ that will kill even dangerous game. Or a 150$ gun that will kill a charging grizzly. Or you can make a 2000$ plinker that will be sub quarter MOA accurate but only produces 10 joules. Etc.
It’s also very weak due to German weapon laws not allowing air guns to be dangerous, this example fires the pellet down a battle and would legally be considered a gun if it was any more powerful
In my country Philippines I even hesitated to buy a $22 Titanium Slingshot, after confirming there's no better steals, I placed the order a few minutes ago

Nice air gun! It's almost a full clone of the Gamo Compact. I have had the Compact for over 20 years and it's still in great condition. It's a very accurate gun with zero recoil. The range is limited, but I managed in my youth to shoot, and hit empty beer cans across a soccer field. The gun has a bleed valve that protects the rubber seal from damage. Greetings from Sweden! =)

Die Baikal Pistole ist erheblich besser gebaut und durchdacht! Auch sind die Einschusslöcher auf den Scheiben extrem unsauber und ausgerissen das eine Wertung schwierig wird ! English : The FAS is in trouble because the compression cylinder is quickly leaking, and the spare parts supply is bad! For me as a competition shooter unsuitable, I use a Baikal MP-46m. The Baikal pistol is much better built and thought out! Also, the bullet holes on the discs are extremely dirty and torn out a rating is difficult!
I had an idea for a cool slingshot! What if you made one where the handle was hollow where you could store additional ammunition? Maybe you could take the idea even further and make a kind of a pistol trigger mechanism on the grip where you just press it, and one steel ball drops down straight in the other hand which is the one you use for loading anyways 🙂 Anyways, cheers from Norway 🤘

Awesome slingshot, the slingshot channel should have slingshot videos and I love them when you make them, they never get old. The burning is a great idea and looks fantastic, another reason I like the videos, provides good ideas on things I would like try to make myself.
There's no doubt about it, those 20 mm steel balls are the crap. not only did it tear the can in half but it shoved It Through the Wood backdrop. LoL. And then at the end I hear that little *tink* when you fire the pellet gun. 🤣🤝 Good job.
The number of people who are clueless about target pistol shooting is scary, yet they post on the topic regardless as though they know what they are talking about when they clearly don't. Google it, please, you will learn a lot about an awesome Olympic sport and also learn that target pistols ( and rifles ) don't need to be crazy powerful, they only need to shoot paper targets 10 meters away. Side note: this FAS 6004 is a single stroke pneumatic pistol, it is NOT a multi-pump, don't confuse it with the Webley Alecto ( aka, Zoraki HP01 ). It cannot increase its power by pumping it more times- it takes one pump only.
It is pretty similar ( same style of mechanism and ergo grip )- the Gamo is pretty cheap though compared to the Chiappa- back in the day I was debating whether to get the Gamo or the HW75, went with the Weihrauch after seeing both in person. It is to me- just take a look down through the comments and see what kind of bizarre, ignorant and down-right stupid things people are saying about the air pistol. It saddens me that in the UK, we used to have a very proud and long shooting heritage, but thanks to liberal-minded anti-fun politicians & scummy tabloid news papers ( lol ) printing sensationalist nonsense and plain lies, shooting of any kind is often frowned upon and shooters themselves are treated like they might be a potential mass murderer. Even in the USA that kind of thing is ridiculous, but in the more civilized parts of Europe we're a bit less trigger happy and have a smarter attitude towards shooting... not that the media cares, nor the government... shooters are just a nuisance and must be harassed into extinction at all costs. Assholes.

This video made me genuinely curious about something - what is the most powerful hand held sling shot you have ever made? I am sure there are crazy ones someone can just go buy, or mechanical ones, and they are nice and all, but I think it would be interesting to know how powerful Joerg can make one.
I remember as a kid making a slingshot from a coat hanger. I bet that you could probably make just about anything from a piece of wood. You are very talented.

Hello, I bought this Fas 6004 air pistol for target shooting, but at a distance of m. 7.5 the lead cannot pierce the cardboard. It is too little powerful, it is necessary to raise the rear sight so that the lead reaches the target with a slight falling parabola. As a result, accuracy is also lost. Have you tried to pump the air gun more than once? It might hold more pressure, maybe not haha. The instructions for my air rifle requests I pump it 10 times for max efficiency. I must say it’s been a while since I’ve watched RU-vid and you’re looking good. Keep up the good work!

I always looked for strange shaped rocks for my slingshot out on the ranch. I loved the sounds they would make. Zzzzzzrrrrrrrrrnnnn, Bvvvvvvvvvvtt, ttttttrrrrrrrrrr! The buzzing is awesome.
I still have a Webley pneumatic pistol, similar to that pistol, that I bought in the 90's and it's power was limited to 6ft/lb to be legal without a firearms licence in the UK. Legal air rifles (of all kinds) without a firearms licence are limited to 12ft/lb. My pistol had and ambidextrous grip and that pistol would be no use to me as I'm a lefty and getting a left handled grip or ambidextrous grip is an issue. Still it's a good pistol and a good vermin dispatcher! This pistol probably has the same 6ft/lb limit which is good for 10-15m close target practice and seeing off some vermin if you've got a good sight/scope. I found that pointed pellets worked best if you're looking to get penetration thru a target like a can.
i think this is the first video you have mentioned how to shoot a slingshot accurately i would like to know more about different length band aiming and how to be consistent
Joerg, you should design a slingshot that you hold like a bow but fires from the side, in other words, it releases as if you were doing target slingshot, turning it in its side...... That is if you haven't already done it already of course, you can then SHOW US ITS FEATURES!
The pellet gun is remarkably similar to a popular model of a Beeman pellet pistol. The Beeman looks far more like an actual fire arm and costs $40, I wonder if its equally accessible to you? The Beeman also punches right through cans in my experience.
