Thank you for the video information on the Airflow 3P. I also been looking at Accuair system wish I like for the price and has a fancier look to their control system. Accuair price is a lot less but also has less to offer in my opinion. The accuiar manifold is only a 1/4 threated port for the bags wish I'm told it less of an air flow to the bags. they also don't have good instructions for the wire installation, and Accuair's harness are not as clean and organized like the Airflow's harness. I've been going back and forth with the two air systems for a few months and your video has helped me with my decision. You gave good examples of what Airflow has to offer for the cash. Starting with the build of the harness the quality (Loom Cover) and easy instructions that can be done at home in the garage by someone with no electrical knowledge wish is a plus for me. I also like that the Airflow 3P manifold has a 3/8'" air Press port for a bigger airline to the bags. Thank you for the great job on the video that will help a DIY person like me just learning from helpful people like yourself. Thank You simple.c10, I will be fallowing your build.

Thanks for the feedback. From my understanding accuair and airlift end up being about the same price when you get everything added up. I do like the 3/8 inch manifold. It raises and lowers at a better speed than 1/4. Good luck on your build!

I spent the better part of my weekend fighting 2 stripped Allen head screws on my new Airmaxxx 580’s. They are now using blue threadlocker on them. Ended up using 2 different scew extractors to get them out. The isolators sure work though and will be worth the hassle.
@SIMPLE.C10

Oh dang! I tan into the compressor screw issue before. The isolators are totally worth the hassle though. You’re right.

Thanks! I’ve used the 480s multiple times. The only difference this time is I’m using water traps after each compressor to keep the manifold dry. I’ve never had any issues with water but it recommends them so I’m going to try them out.

Any issues mounting the compressors sideways??? I know they recommend mounting them upright or the warranty won’t cover any premature failure.
@SIMPLE.C10
@SIMPLE.C10 2 года назад
Great question. That’s the first thing I looked up before making this decision. After researching, there is no issues with mounting compressors sideways. Here’s the officially statement in the site: “You can mount in any direction or position since the compressors are oil- less. The only position we do not recommend is an upside-down mount, since heat tends to travel upward, and does not dissipate well in the motor housing.”

You forgot the grommet in the frame where the power wires go to compressor....Now it will chafe and go up in Smoke.

Thanks for the heads up. I actually installed a grommet later on when tidying up all wires. This video is from a few years ago. Still going strong.

You made me buy that kit 💸😂.. im in the process of installing it myself ..you dont have a video of the bracket that you use to install tank and what goes connected to the tanks hole
@SIMPLE.C10

It’s just an L bracket from lowes self tapped into the notch and bolted to the tank. DM me on Instagram and I’ll send you a pic

I would be worried about rubber from doing burnouts or mud and rain getting on the pumps in that location.
@SIMPLE.C10

No issues with rain. I don’t do burnouts so not sure about that.

Have you experienced any hose leaks at the manifold?
@SIMPLE.C10
@SIMPLE.C10 9 месяцев назад
I have not. The manifolds have been great but any push fitting can fail so I see it as a possibility.
@jerryhurtado4055

Could you run your wires through your notch? And feed them in to keep them hidden?
@SIMPLE.C10
@SIMPLE.C10 Год назад
You possibly could but I like to setup everything to make it easily accessible in case I want to change or replace something. The way it is I could easily do that.

What mounting brackets is that your using for the manifold to the fuel tank?

It’s just one I found on Amazon. Type on airlift 3p bracket. It’s about $30. Lots of different kinds.

for this set up do i need a pressure switch on the airtank?
@SIMPLE.C10
@SIMPLE.C10 2 года назад
No. The pressure switch for the tank is ran by the manifold! Just plug your tank and four bags into it and it does the rest!

Great job on your videos - thorough and DIY oriented. You had me sold on the Airlift 3P or 3H system until I saw the price. When I configured my kit the 3H priced up with one compressor only at $2425. You'd then have to buy another compressor and wiring harness on top of that. Accuair's comparable package has two compressors at $2495 plus the tank looks a little more premium looking. Can you give me a compelling reason why the AirLift system was your final choice? Also, thoughts on why just the 3P? Is the 3H and all the height sensors a pain and just more things to manage/break?
@SIMPLE.C10
@SIMPLE.C10 2 года назад
Im not familiar with accuairs packages. I bought a kit from airmaxxx that included the airlift 3p with both harnesses, two compressors, four bags, all the connectors for less than $2000. The elevel setup alone is $2000.
@SIMPLE.C10
@SIMPLE.C10 2 года назад
I don’t really need height sensors. Once you set your default heights for your remote you know what height you’re at. I feel like it’s an added price and work for something that gives you nothing in return.
