That is weird..... What kind of car is it? The 3/8 lines should actually allow it to air out faster.. It depends if its a heavy car too it might be slow..
Make sure to set min driving height to 0%. By default (as shown in video, it’s 25%). Set it to 0 and it’ll air out fully every time. System might be limiting speed
Mine too! Just installed 3p on my 2012 dodge challenger and it airs up fast as ever. But honestly airing out is slower then a turtle 🐢 I mean it. I got 3/8 lines.
Hey bro nice video, quick question is it ok to air out to 0 all the time or will that damage any components? Also if I don’t drive the car regularly what height should I leave it at? Thanks in advance
Air out to 0 is okay.. Of course dont break your fenders and fender linner and make sure you not hitting your gas tank line etc... If you don't drive the car regularly.. Leave the car at ride height
Question! Let's say I'm driving in my neighborhood, there's a speed bump, can I air UP while driving? Or do I have to sit still then , air up to get through obstacles
@EvilStreetShark Ahh! I see! Let's say I have an issue with maybe the compressor or bag while out! Am I completely roadside stranded? What should I look for maintaining a Bagged Car?(: (I'm just about to finnally secure all the parts!)
@@jeannin.wallace2795 If everything is installed correctly. You shouldn't be stranded. The management has a valve to close off each bag and tank so it doesn't leak. You just have to drain the tank.
Great video! I’ve noticed sometimes when I zero mine out and turn the car off…after time it’ll lift back to ride height. Sometimes it stays at 0 until I turn the car on but others I come back out to the car and it’s at ride height. What am I doing wrong?
Hey, I'm an old man. My son left his car at my house to go snowboarding for a couple days. I know nothing about this airlift performance system. He drove 12 hours to our house and has a cracked wheel that he repaired but it is leaking, I wanted to take it off and take it to a tire store and buy a spare (He doesn't have one and he needs to drive back 12 hours) I wanted to take the wheel to make sure I get one that will fit he has an adapter on it. If I under stand your video all I have to do is start the car and it should rise, then I can get a jack under it and raise it to take the wheel off. but when I turn the car off I don't know what will happen. Should I even try this?
If he have the same airlift.. start up the car.. You air the car all the way up! turn it off and it will stay aired up and you can jack up the car to take the wheel off..
@@EvilStreetShark thanks I cranked it and had to press the up button and it brings up the front two sides. But I can't get the back to inflate. Not even with the individual rizer buttons. And of course it is the rear drivers side.
My son in law said it probably has a switch to switch the compressors t keep it from draining the battery. I appreciate your video and response to my question. I'll look at it in the morning.
Ok so I there is no switch (according yo my son) I finally contacted him to let him know what is going on. The screen says Compressor freeze. He said I needed to run the car for awhile to warm the compressor up and the top button should then raise the whole thing up. It is 23 degrees and has been for a few days. If that doesn't work. He will have to fix it himself Sunday night and Monday and call in to his Job.
Check the red and black connection for the compressor, check the fuse for the compressor and make sure its not blown out, check the connection to the battery and make sure its secure, if it still says compressor freeze.. you have a bad compressor.. you just need to get a new one
I had the same issue to but I bought a new compressor and installed it and still had the same issue. Thought it was my manifold but then I had it installed into my cousin car and it worked. So now I’m thinking it’s a bad harness. Any suggestion?
If I run “rise- to- start” and air out for the night. The next morning it won’t air up to my ride heigh? Do I need to set another setting to it? Or am I doing something or? Or is my bag system wrong?
If you have rise on start on and your air out... Everything you turn you car on it will automatic go to your main ride height you have set on the middle...
@@EvilStreetShark I do have it on. And do have my ride heigh already pre setted. But it won’t rise up to my ride heigh if I leave the car aired out for too long
Good details on describing. I know for some people they might careless. But i'm the type to wanna know what it does. Haha kinda wanna get one just don't have enough money at the moment. Ty for the vid!
Yes! Its draining the battery! Make sure that you have the harness wired to the fuse box... So when the car is on the on position.. The controller is turned on.. When you shut the car off.. The controller shut off... You get what I mean?
So a few weeks ago I bagged my 9th gen Accord coupe. It's not my daily but I wasn't sure how happy I was with it. I was just so tired from the install I never bothered to look at the manual for the controller. Your video walked me through everything and it's helped me absolutely love the car.
Great video my friend. Just a quick question I came out this morning to see that the left front of my car had aired out and it was low. Do you think I should re calibrate the airlift kit ?
The side of the strut is leaking air.. You might have to reteflon the fittings.. Check with leaks with soap and water.. use the suds.. it should start bubbling
EvilStreetShark Hey sir!!! How do you change the settings big you want to turn the controller horizontal and have the screen on the left and pad on the right?
Nice Fricking video man....you explained it better than anyone and i have been searching for days. I cant find any sort of user manual online as they are all install orientated for the most part. You Nailed it!!!!!
I just bought this kit but at what psi do the compressors kick on after you’ve been hitting the buttons ?and can you change that psi to your choosing?thanks!
@@alejandroroberts4702 You cant set when the compressors kick on... I recommend setting the tank to 185 or 175...It will hold the air pressure better 200.. is a lot
This is the best informative video I’ve found on the Airlift Performance controller, and you got 3H too! Just started building my platform in my trunk for my 3H system I’m installing in my 2018 Mustang GT. Unfortunately I was playing a game of taking a shot whenever you said “dope” and I’m now dead. LOL Just kidding. Again, best one of these videos I’ve seen on the controller and it’s functions and I’ve watched LOTS of them. Good job!
