Flew the 1957 Piper Tri-Pacer on our first airplane camping trip just north of Traverse City to Woosley airstrip in Michigan. It was a short trip and more of a test to see how we like camping. Overall we enjoyed it. I would say my wife loves the exploring the the airplane but would rather grab a airbnb or hotel.

Hey David, thumbs up. Now you have a beautiful girl as your first officer! great to take the wife with ones for a flight. I tried to teach my wife to fly but she told me something like "OK, but I wont make the radio talk". That was something very funny to me. Kudos and congrats to both. You do a splendid couple.

Good video, makes me miss Michigan. I was born and raised in Owosso. I can’t wait to be able to fly back home. I currently live in Alaska, about to take my PPL checkride.

Great Video and great aircraft - I flew a Piper Tri-Pacer for many years in South Africa. It performed very well with a Lycoming 160Hp engine. With 4 people, full tanks and baggage in and out of many different airfields...............you get a lot of aircraft for your Dollar!..........miss it big time. Enjoy every moment of your flying and keep them videos coming.

Patrick Murphy that’s awesome. I bought the Tri-Pacer a little early without doing full research but looking back now I wouldn’t change. It’s a great all around affordable plane. Good luck!
