Great violin playing , and Ian Hobson whom I remember from Illinois Master's days, all jaunty as hell on the piano. I particularly love the finale. That melody on the G string, achieved while apreggiating all over the place, is just so beautiful. It sort of reminds me of the Mendelssohn vln cto cadenza when the orchestra joins the soloist. It's a great technique and I used to love playing this. Thanks Sissel.
Not very pleasant to the ear. Intonation is a struggle here. Yes I understand it is an Ernst piece but you shouldn't make the audience clench for you so often.
