AITA for Not Sharing My Only Plate With a Pregnant Woman. 

Noticed how her requests went from "just a bite" to a few bites, to half of ops breakfast. What an choosing beggar!

So the pregnant friend didnt order food for herself because she wasnt feeling well but took bites or half of what was on their friends plates? Did she even bring money or did she try to get a free meal?

She changed her story from “ I’m not hungry”, to I’m hungry now can you share your plate with me”, to “you can afford to share your food “. She was just trying to get a free meal. Whether you have a food allergy or not, you don’t have to justify not wanting to share your food. A simple no thanks, I’m going to eat what I ordered should have been enough.

Absolutely NTA but the expectation to eat for free and try to use pregnancy as a way to bully someone into sharing is something an a**h*le would do…. The “you could have just said “no” and left it at that” line was SUPER rich considering OP LITERALLY tried to just say “no” but kept getting harassed after doing so. I personally hate when people create their own drama then try to play the victim. People these days act like having a baby, getting married, having a birthday, etc. are excuses to act entitled when couples have been procreating for literally the entirety of human history, people have been getting married for millennia and literally everyone has a birthday. We need to normalize not treating people like they are special for doing shit that isn’t special and behaviors like this would be less prevalent.

Here is a weird advice: if someone asks for your food then LICK it while maintaining eye contact with them. Works for me. Or order weird food combinations that only you like.

There nothing more annoying than pregnant women acting like they're the first woman to ever have a baby. People don't have to bend over backwards to make you happy or accomodate your cravings. It's not going to harm the baby if you don't eat whatever random thing you want or even skip a whole day of eating. People don't have to pity you because you chose to get pregnant. Unless you're having complications, there's nothing you can't do that you did before being pregnant besides drink alcohol and maybe jump from really high up. You can still carry heavy things, work a normal job, and pay for your own meals.

To be honest I would have no problems giving my friends all my food if they were hungry/could not afford it. Unpopular opinion I guess but maybe OP needs to understand the concept of friendship better.
