Sniping the ironman with 3 ongoing targets in the location is wild. Still won the other two spots and would have with the mystique hit too, so i guess it doesnt really matter.

@@syahyunanathe cards not even out yet. the only reason she'd be "good" in dark hawk decks is the fact you had more cards to their deck but even without that, you're still hitting a 3/7 card assuming you play on turn 3 which is still really strong. but either way she will be good with ajax specifically. maybe not high evo but definitely good with ajax
Regis! If the other Ajax doesn’t feel so great you should make another color based deck like the red one you did. It was super cool seeing you try to make a coherent deck out of a nonsynergistic theme.
I decided to replace Sunspot with Yellowjacket: you can tempo him if drawn early or use him to spike Ajax by bombing a lane you might not be able to flip
Why won't they just buff Sabertooth by returning him to 3/4 and giving him +1 Power each time he is destroyed? It may not be the final solution to his problems, but absolutely better than where he is currently
If you get him down early, and can destroy him every turn. He can feed Knull like crazy. But that hits so rarely. He should just stay out, gain +1 and follow Wolverine (if possible). Maybe cut the cost to 2 and keep his 5 power so he has more play and doesn't get insanely big
I think a Sabretooth change is unnecessary. It sucks that he isn't played much but that doesn't mean you can't play him, I used Sabretooth quite often in my early collection and after he got a buff I was excited to revisit him and I still had quite a lotta fun playing him again. I feel like people get too focused on buffing or "fixing" every single card that isn't meta defining and they forget that some of them are actually pretty ok. I'd much rather they focus their attention on cards like Rhino or Kang that are just extremely boring.
i like grandmaster. so, grandmaster-ajax-annihilus -grandmaster -hazmat -lady deathstrike -debrii -annihilus -the hood -ajax -white widow -rogue -mystique -spider-woman -selene it might not have the best synergies but it's all the strategizing and careful consideration i could put into the deck idea in 5 minutes (i made this list in 5 minutes and i only have 2 of the cards) i hope you like the ajax deck idea
Thanks for the video and the deck. I think you have the right idea; I feel that players sometimes get caught up in maximizing a new card, instead of just using it as a good option.
I'd replace Wasp with She-Hulk. If you can get Abomb down to 0 before turn 5, you can have a killer turn 6 with Ajax, She-Hulk, and Abomb. If you have Sunspot from early on, of course, all the better.
@@ROGUECOP669I run Echo and Enchantress. If I play Echo I at least know I can play Ajax in that lane and Enchantress one of the other lanes with a 50/50. Especially since I also included Ghost in my deck so I can turn 6 Hazmat and hit all the cards on the board.
It's actually insane that Rogue hit Iron Man in that Bar Sinister game. The confidence felt a bit misguided because it was only a 1/3 chance for Rogue to hit with the Widow's Kiss and Ravona there. That was not a guaranteed Iron Man at all.
Could be interesting to kind of not afflict cards until turn 6. So turn 5 ajax, turn 6 mystique+hazmat. This requires you to have these cards in time of course, but could be fun. Taskmaster could also be a valid turn 6 drop
I find it quite ironic that Ajax has ongoing effect of getting power from afflictions yet I find it's also apt for him, since Ajax is a brand of household cleaning products and detergents. Edit: I think Sunspot should be replaced with Nebula, since you didn't have a lot of turn where you've some energy left for Sunspot, Misty Knight, and Cyclops to do their things. At best, you'll only have Sunspot at 9 powers, and at worst 1 power.
I never play decks like this. You can see it coming a mile away, so easy to predict and counter, and if you can't counter it's an easy retreat. I just roll my eyes whenever i see Wong come up in an obvious surfer deck.
I tried a self affliction deck and it was solid. However if you don’t get the Ajax it feels really bad. But I was getting 20-26 power Ajax’s pretty consistently and things like Typhoid Mary with ms marvel helped carry a second location.
Been using him in a toxic clog deck and he eats cubes like a mf! The only issue I've had was bounce and destroy. Even then there were other things I could have done to win. Love this card 🤘
Just cant risk wasting a key or two to get him when there is a week coming with Hope summers, Nico and Proxima! thats a win-win week for me and I will be needing at least 3 keys there Then i will need to land Loki the week next month
Speaking of high evo, think they'll make any new cards that don't have powers so that evo can change them? Right now they're just coming up with a bunch of crazy stuff but what if they did a season of just cards with nothing?

Yeah luke cage turn 6 is too unpredictable (minus if they snap) and its too hard to counter. If he was an on reveal okay thatd be different, but hes such a versatile easy slot. Im not gonna play Ajax until the hype dies down. Hes a good card but im not losing 8 cubes again caus ethey dropped cage on 6 😅

He should be like Gilgamesh... being ongoing doesn't do any favors to him either you debuff your own cards with Typhoid, Hazmat etc or prey they didn't have Shang, Rogue, Luke etc... i don't mean he is completly useless but...
Idk how people still lose to surfer decks. You see the brood and Wong or whatever and if you don't have a counter it's easy retreat. Most boring decks ever
