I agree with Joe on the price increasing for Game Pass. $20 a month is about all most people can shell out for this service. Any higher, and they're going to face major losses.

@@maltheri9833 You're under the impression the average player plays a new game every day or something. That isn't the case at all. The average player might play 1 game every 2-3 months while contending with work or school. People aren't changing games quickly anymore. Many are simply sticking with older reliable titles they know aren't disappointing with massive monetization schemes built in. This also means that game pass costing hundreds a year isn't feasible because they could outright buy the games if they are only switching every 2-3 months and selecting better value indie titles. The current trend of the industry is going to implode when there is a mass exodus from battle pass style games because players have caught on. It's already happened in several titles.

I agree but owning physical ain't what it used to be. The version on discs and carts is usually not great. The whole day 1 patch thing is industry standard now. Still, owning physical of your favorites that will at least run is hard to beat!
No, I say prime. Prime is marginally the worst. first they start with ads in the beginning of every episode and now they progressed to having two part ads IN THE MIDDLE OF THE EPISODES. I feel like these corporations needs to lose majority of their subscribers because right now they are on their greedy high horse.

Right now it’s debatable, only because the subscribers haven’t grown they way they thought, so like the Apex situation, they raising prices because they can’t make that money off of console sales or game sales, so just get more money off the people they already have. Now if Gamepass were to fail, at worst, that causes the death of the Xbox division, at best all the head honchos in the Xbox division gets fired for putting all their eggs into the Gamepass basket

Filun fact: Black Desert Online was originally made as a PVPMMO. They changed to be more in line with a traditional MMORPG because there was a small group of PVP players while the larger group was just normal MMO players.
To this day BDO has one of the best combat systems ever. Plus if you like crafting and gathering it's a dream come true. The only problem was PVP but they made it so you can play PVE only now.

Forget about getting Suicide Squad for free, they'd have to pay *me* to get me to play it. Hell, Rocksteady would have to offer me a job just to get me to touch the game at all. Also, as much as I am interested in the next Bioshock game, where would the story go for that series? The story was essentially wrapped up in the third game. There's almost no where to go in exploring Rapture and it's history without the story doing something completely different.
My issue with Concord's presentation is that in the trailer, it doesn't look like a multiplayer PVP game, but a PVE game. Like, are they fighting each other for no reason? With Overwatch, everybody had their own story to be on one side vs the other.
Gamepass price increase doesn't matter. Those already invested can't get out cause then they realize they have no games. And they can't afford games cause they're budgeted for Gamepass. So, they pay the little extra. It's like when Netflix increased price. They didn't lose significant users because Netflix users realized they're completely dependent on Netflix.
You hit the nail on the head. If you're one of those people who were subscribed to GP for let's say the last 3-4 years you have exactly ZERO newer games to play if you cancel. Unless you were also buying games that weren't on game pass. But that goes against the idea of a subscription service like GP. And if you do a bit of math and calculate how much money you spent on GP, you'll realize you could have bought a nice library of games especially if you buy during sales or used games. To me GP is a completely unappealing service.
When i heard the Game Pass shenanigans, i thought stupid, immediately, but if you're after a little more money Microsoft, just introduce an increase instead of a now useless tier and what can only be described as the normal one at a higher price imo. I play PC exclusively now and have done for years and it makes me angry seeing my fellow gamers on console constantly being shafted especially.
Like all other streaming services, gamepass was gonna increase their rates at some point. Let’s just hope they don’t try to do something stupid like running ads before launching games or something

Console game pass subscription is going up, but the base subscription won't allow for day one releases? So... what is the point? And if it's getting close to over 20 bucks, why even buy the subscription at all? I might as well buy ACTUAL games once a month.
Personally I don't mind the price increase too much for GP, yes it sucks when it happens but it's not as though it's a huge jump. The tiers are very confusing but I pay for ultimate anyway so having no day one games doesn't effect me. £14.99 is okay for me as I do play a lot of games and I get my money's worth.
There was a video talking about GP and it mentioned one of the XB trailers, i think it was during the XB show case just recently which stated the game was on GP or something. Then weeks later MS mentioned about the new tiers. If that's true, then the trailer was somewhat misleading as the game wont exactly be on GP due to the new changes. I didn't watch the showcase, but the video that was going on about the new changes showed it.

5:06 so I don’t know about Epic but steam now let’s you remove games from your Library, for the longest time you couldn’t, I remember TB complaining that he had bad rats on his library and he couldn’t get rid of the thing and that if someone gifted you a game you don’t want you couldn’t get rid of it but that has since been changed and ied hope it’s the same with epic and if it isn’t it darn well should be.
Alex keeps saying those Amazon games will be on the Epic Games Store. That's not true, they will be on the Amazon games app. The article mentions one of the games was once free on the Epic Games Store and I believe that's why he keeps saying it in this video.
I love sour candy (Sour Patch Kids are the best), but for some reason, with Sour Skittles, I feel like it leaves what feels like coconut flakes or something in my mouth. It's weird. I've tried them several times, and it was always the same result. It sucks too because taste-wise, they were great. But I hated that feeling of coconut flakes stuck to my teeth.
I have been loving Sony for years, always purchased their consoles and games. Their recent BS ps plus tier system has pushed me to finally jump off from Sony and save up for a PC. PS plus basic tier now starts at $100 and the end tier is $200 in my country, I used to play PS3 online for free, then $60 for PS4, now it costs $100 for the very basic plus. Enough is enough.
